yeah, yeah, I know what mathematics are, but I have NEVER heard the term "maths" before, and I think everyone will agree with me that you still said your post a bit like an asshole.

Are you joking? If your game isn't near perfectly balanced there will always be a definitive winning strategy that is unbeatable, I've seen this happen many times, but base your game on an already well defined algebric structure like a module algebra, then you can create varying sets of cards, acting as the module sets, one of which is a field, and the others you can cater to act as morphisms on the sets, that way you have definitive paramters you know you can't exceed or your game will destroy itself.

All I got there was gust "being a fucking twat", which is apparently all I'm getting here.

And this ISN'T 100% flash forum material, this is mathematical programming that just happens to be build in AS, go away.

And I don't want to have to download a PDF, just a quick link saying "class description for classname" that leads us to a brief description of what the class does.

There is a brief description, it's next to the class name on the page. The pdf is the shortest way that every method and property of every damn class there can be listed. What do you want me to do? Teach you the entirety of abstract algebra from the ground up?

Most people who will download your class are people who know nothing or very little about maths, I would suggest you give us examples of how they can be used etc...

They'll be in the pdf.

I'm gonna write an abstract algebra primer

Hello Programming Forum,

Yes, I posed this topic in the Flash forum but I quite simply can't get the feedback I want there, but here I think it will be appreciated a hell of a lot more.

http://www.stylebucket.co.uk/index.php?sectio n=2&page=Flashmatics

I'm working on a library of Mathematics classes for AS 3.0, I won't go into too much detail since everything's pretty straight forward, bascally I'm looking for feedback, criticism and suggestions on where to go from here or what people would be interested in seeing or using in a library such as the one I'm building.

Thanks, Sekky

Ok perhaps I should have been a little more specific.

I am actually looking for more than one person BUT, this is easily achievable by one man. For the test set we're probably looking at between 40 and 60 cards, which is easily achievable by one person imho, no more working than making x number of fluid animations for a platform character really.

Oh, and in addition to that, it'd be nice to have a short comic book detailing the backstory of the card game itself.

Well I've been absent recently, hey guys, what's up and such forth.

Anyway, I've been mathing a lot since I started my course, a hell of a lot, and I've kind of come up with a loose idea for a card game based on an idea I had for a beat-em-up a long time ago. I don't expect anybody's ever come forth to this forum asking for an artist for a card game, so I won't reveal too much about it because I'm expect somebody to snap and say "hey, that's for me", so give me an email or add me on msn at professorrhythm@gmail.com

This is just for fun, and to see if I can balance it properly, but it should be a good laugh. Any takers?
