If you do the assignments, and understand them, you should be good for the test. I find you have to just figure things out for yourself in uni because the teachers are just God awful. Finished my last final today and I feel like I owned them all so it's working out for me so far.

I think that it depends on whatever your goal is. It's impossible to constantly drive towards acheiving a goal most of the time. It takes time for your efforts to ferment, so you might as well procrastinate during that time. Seems like a good way to conserve your sanity too.

So, I need to come up with a problem that a community or country currently faces that can be solved using an engineering design that my team will come up with for my first year Engineering class. I'm looking into it now, but thought that maybe there's a few people in the know here that can give me an idea of what problem to do my project on. Previous examples include a community that needs to create a huge human chain to extract water from a deep hole or a country that can't figure our what to do with an excessive mango crop.

Any ideas?

I don't see why that everybody thinks that they've lost progress in the redesign. Sure, you have a different badge now that would have been lower with the old system, but everything has changed now, so a Sergeant is now worth more than it was before. I personally couldn't care less that my rank is different. I also don't see why that the EG should go into limbo because of the name thing. It's still the same thing, just the entry level B/P's are higher.

If anything, I think that the new spacing between ranks is better and gives more worth to a promotion.
