To both of these, and i'll try to make this short because i'm such a compassionate person.

Pedophiles can never repress their thoughts and feelings toward children, they will always be there. That want. They do have the power to control their actions though. If they want to wait for a child to grow up to adulthood before trying anything, by all means please do. If they love the child, they wouldn't attempt to make any kind of adult relations with them until they are of age.

In fact, if a pedophile truly loved a child, they would leave them alone completely to avoid harming them, emotionally or physically. You see, a pedophile cannot escape their primal urges. It is why they are considered such, the attraction to children.

I believe you are trying to present a case where an adult's attraction to a child is not really pedophilia. It makes me laugh that you try and romanticize the situation, but.. basically, if that adult really does care for the child and want a healthy relationship, then it is not wrong to wait for them. It is wrong to try and make themselves a romantic figure in their life when they are still a child, though. It is also wrong to pose as a trusting, helpful, and loving figure in their lives at a young age and then attempt to turn it sexual later on (another reason why it is best to leave them alone completely). That in itself is a betrayal.

The whole situation is iffy, and, dear lord, i'd prefer that the children just be left alone to be children without some admirer laying in wait for them. I suppose it is better than the alternative, though.

Personally, I feel child abuse is the worst form of cruelty that one human and inflict upon another. It is robbing a child of their innocence in the most vicious way possible, and it is something which they never get over.

Thanks to the internet, the demand for such pornography has increased greatly (it takes up a grand total of 7% of the pornography industry, probably more by now, this is huge when you think about it).. and access has become so much easier. The requests for younger children have increased as well, what is it now.. infants?

All for those poor pedophiles, who just can't control themselves.

They have the same behavioral patterns as serial killers. That unstoppable, obsessive drive. How come they weren't mentioned in this pleasant debate? If a pedophile doesn't have to gain self control, then why should a serial killer or rapist? Is it because pedophiles are so much more devious and conniving? Or because the government doesn't pay enough attention to child abuse cases? It's funny how someone who pirates on the internet often gets more time in jail (4 yrs) than a sick pervert who has been molesting children for years (2 yrs).

I wonder what would happen if we all decided to let go of any sense of decency and good and fully immersed ourselves in our corrupted sides. No restriction or control, using and abusing those around us as we pleased. The pursuit of our sick desires being our only fuel -- constant and selfish predators. Sound familiar? A lot like the actions of a pedophile. Then again, we could always mask our actions with the age old proposal that we were born with it, hence it being so very acceptable.

You know what? We were born with a choice in this life. Pedophiles have the choice of not preying upon children. There really is no excuse for their actions. Even if it the only perversion that can get them off, wouldn't you agree that sacrificing their sexual pleasure for the safety of our youth is a trifle price to pay? And believe me, pedophiles know exactly what they are doing. It is not an issue where they cannot discern right from wrong.

Anyway, to make another point. Pedophiles cannot maintain a relationship because once the child grows too old, they lose sexual interest. Sexual interest, power and dominance for the young is the base of their attraction. This is why they typically are known to take many pictures, and video recordings of their infatuations. To try and immortalize that young person, so they can validate the relationship and their perversity.

Homosexuals, on the other hand, are able to carry on a long term relationship with one another. They are able to surpass infatuation and achieve love and true affection/caring, for they are both consenting and understanding partners. This applies to emotionally and sexually, a maturity which a pedophile can never have. Basically, they are able to grow with one another, without there being any deceit, advantage-taking or a cut off limit.

Well, I could go on about this for a long time, but it would just be me going into detail and bringing up more disturbing facts and points. Pedophiles are the reason why I often seriously consider switching to a criminology major, after all. I feel the need to protect our young -- this world is increasingly becoming more and more unsafe, and with an unreliable, twisted government (i'll get into the outrageous laws/terms involving pedophilia, children, and all that follows another time) it only makes it more worrisome.

So.. while sitting here watching Jeepers Creepers, I dwelled upon the scene where the boy discovers the basement with the corpses sewn up all along the walls.

This made me think of an interesting question, which I now pose to all of you fine virgins.

What are some major things (a top 10 list) that a person could say/do/don't do/be/act/whatever that would completely eliminate any possiblity of them being the "one", so to speak. By the one, I don't mean Neo (unless you swing that way) but rather, a person that you would consider having sexual relations with.

Aaarrr. I've been so busy lately (city life, I tell ya!) So as some of you may have noticed, I haven't been able to post as much.

Hilarious story, though. Just today I was at this huge arcade/laser tag/whatever thing, and by the end of my time there I had a big groupie following. It all began this guy I named Ninja (for wearing his shirt over his face) and this other cutie nerdy guy (whom I exchanged e-mail's and MySpace's with) not being able to beat me at Tekken 4, then we moved to Soul Caliber 3, and it grew larger as we went from system to system and was finally resolved with Laser Tag before the place shut down.

I'm the coolest kid on the block, serious. Kthnx.

Hmmm.. I suppose this is the part I ask a question. Well, I have a close friend whom i've known for years, and she is really very beautiful. Not just physically -- but she's smart, witty, funny and creative as well. She always seems to get caught up in these awful relationships, though. She could do so much better for herself! The poor thing. She has this horrible knack for getting together with these guys who turn out being nothing but a waste of time.

It's like, she's lying to herself or something. Whenever the relationship starts out she will talk about how great the guy is, how they're different from the rest, how the relationship will work, blah blah blah. But then, at the end, they'll have been exactly the same. Quite simply, from what I have seen, they're all like "leeches". She acknowledges this, but then keeps making the same mistake. Although, after having a long talk with her, she is taking a break from anything romantic (fortunately).

I'm sick of seeing her invest so much time in something that isn't benefitting her. In guys that don't really make her happy. Like I said, she could do so much better, and have so much more. She's my dear friend I love her to pieces, but.. I really gotta figure out how to tell her that she's making a mistake with her choices. How can I get her to realize that she needs a change, once and for all? Also, what advice should I give about what she should be looking for?

Not only are you meant to look pretty (especially you Yoda), but you are also nominated to the status of helping decide who gets to join this club (or not), and assigning rankings to others.

As for the rankings, how I did this before was I would discuss with original two higher-ups what to assign and write via AIM. It's not needed for every little detail, but as a general idea it's handy to communicate, especially if you have any quick questions. That being said, my AIM is "Penguin Top Hat".

You will also be looked upon as figures to go to for information, advice, and other "knowledgeable" tasks. Thus being, the role of the wise old Council (which is not so old after all). We also have to sit around in a circle and talk about the impending doom of our world. That can be saved for weekends, though.

Well. This morning while eating breakfast, I flipped on the tele to see if there was anything bearable to watch. Of course there was nothing, so I spaced out and ignored it for a while, focusing on my Rice Chex. This is when my spidey senses for annoying teen drama went to maximum, as I heard a typical deep voiced narrator saying something about how scandalous the lives of our youth is. After looking at Naked Beercan's picture, I just remembered the dream that I had last night. It has to do with virginity, really.

I was with this scientist in a white lab coat and mask, inside of his laboratory. I really had no idea what he was doing (since the dream started up in this random scene), I was simply sitting on a mat on the floor watching him. While messing around with his vials and potions, he would glance over to me every now and then with a devious smile. I, on the other hand, was more bored than anything else. He would laugh and murmur things to himself.. so finally, I said:

"Are you done yet!?"

He replied with, "Almost, almost."

Some more time passed, and after shifting sitting positions several times, I decided to get up and walk around the lab, checking out the "scenery". The typical equipment was there, nothing too exciting, but then I found a slightly concealed door off to the side. Of course I opened it, cautiously peeking inside. Complete darkness. I walked in all the way and fumbled to find a light switch, which is when the door suddenly slammed shut behind me. I jumped, and then immediately afterwards a row of torches were set alit. The room was filled with ancient armor and weaponry, mostly medieval.

Long story short, I looted the place. I put on knight-like armor and grabbed this relatively large broadsword. I walked to the wall, as if I knew what I was doing, and put my hand on one of the tapestries, which then dissolved to a portal of sorts. I jumped through it and fell into a lush green, wide open field, with trees and flowers scattered here and there. It looked peaceful, ideal for a picnic resort. I paused, taking a look around me, waiting for "something". That's when I heard a loud, menacing mechanical noise, repeating itself over and over again.

It felt like an eternity passed, waiting for whatever it was to reveal itself -- when really, it was only a few seconds. ...The sounds stopped. That's when I saw it, a figure in the distance, coming toward me from across the field. I lifted my broadsword, ready for battle. As it came closer and closer, I was better able to discern what it was. A cylinder shape, but still not near enough to make out the details.. what was suspicious about it was the speed it was going. It was incredibly slow. Was it.. mocking me? I clenched the handle of the sword, angered by this. I then yelled at it, taunting. It maintained it's steady speed, though.

I heard a loud electric noise above me, like lightning. I lost my concentration on the cunning foe and looked up.. the portal was opened again, except this time the scientist jumped through. He hit the ground with a loud thud, gained his composure quickly, and nonchalantly brushed off his coat. He peered at me over his medical mask, and then laughed, speaking briefly.

"If you're going to defeat him, you'll be needing this."

He opened his jacket like the shop keeper in Resident Evil 4.. "Welcome!" And whipped out a Darth Vader costume, along with a light saber. He handed them to me, and stepped back to watch the impending battle.

In the blink of an eye, I was suited up like Darth Vader. I looked back quickly at the robotic "thing", to see how much it had advanced...

.. and it didn't seem to be any closer.

I let out a loud cry, "Noooooooooooooo!" And, fed up with the waiting, charged toward it. Crossing the distance rather quickly, I finally met up with this fierce opponent. But, to my surprise, it was actually R2D2 (Naked_Beercan). Confused, and after closer inspection, I noticed that he was stuck in a hole in the dirt. I sighed, and prodded him with my light saber. I was greeted back with a series of beeps, and the signature R2D2 scream:

"Waaaaaooooooooo!"

I put my light saber away, disappointed, and picked up the helpless droid, setting him down upright on the ground. I was about to walk away when the Naked_Beercan went insane with the beeping and screaming, as if it were cursing at me. I turned around and saw it burst into flames, rolling at me full throttle. This was war.

*Insert lengthy, intense and amazing battle.*

And then I won, thus concluding my virgin dream.

Topics are not limited to just virginity. It is what any other club is meant to be, a gathering for a group of people who all have something in common. That something being supporters of the pro-virgin lifestyle. It is explicitly stated that members who join share their viewpoint and reasoning for this choice, so it's intention is not a pointless club where people come in to bitch about not getting laid and how much they masturbate. There are many depths and sides to this subject, as well as people who appreciate such a concept, which if you had read through the pages, you would understand.

A support group, a help topic, and a discuss thread. Those sum it up best.

Alrighty, now i'm going to make another point. You find virginity to be pointless, and that a club created for pro-virgins is a waste of time, right? Well, you see, like I had mentioned before, it's all a matter of a difference of opinion. Of course I knew there was going to be opposition toward this subject when I created the club. But that display of opposition only reinforces why this club is here. It's not just here on the internet that people are quick to judge, and consider frivolous these decisions, but it's also a contributing factor in the outside world as well.

Beyond all of this, it's also a place to have fun be light-hearted as well, since there's no way i'd create an entirely serious club. What a drag that would be.
