You'll need to create an image sequence (rendering each frame of the video as a separate png), import them into Flash and then put them all into a single symbol. This symbol can then be placed on the TV screen and set to play whenever you like. Sound has to be imported separately.

Alright. Also, that's pretty gay, how you import video. Why do you have to do it like that?

Tips? Posted November 10th, 2014 in Animation

I'm relatively new to flash, and I understand the basics of animation. I taught myself how to use flash, but I can't figure everything out, so I'm asking for some help here.
1) How can I make a decent looking bone structure for a full body character?
2) How can I add a video? (Example: I decide to add my friend's YouTube video in the background on a TV screen as an Easter egg. How would I go about doing this?)

I'll take any advice you guys give me, and thanks in advance!

why do you hate all the other versions

Shitsocks, just realized something. I'm using CS3. I can't compile the animations if you all are using later versions. :c If there is some way someone can downgrade the files for me, I'd be so grateful. I refuse to upgrade from CS3 because I hate any other version of Flash (unless it's macromedia flash 8 or MX, those are pretty good too.)

just animate anything as long as its halloween themed here are the specs m8: width 720 hight 480 frame rate 24
That's a broad subject, the theme is halloween but each member should do a specific thing like for example, person A does an animation about vampires, person B does one about Frankenstein, person C werewolves, D zombies and so on, then you could all put them together.
Make sure you all animate the same type of animation (comedy, horror, drama, whatever), it wouldn't make much sense if one animated comedy while another one animated horror. Try to talk about this a bit more and give out more details, don't go around saying "just animate anything as long as its halloween themed".

Well it's bound to have some horror elements thrown in. I CALL DIBS ON A HALLOWEEN (the movie lol) PARODY!

Just throwing that out there. I don't want two of the same submissions, lol
