Start with wireframes. That's the best way to practice the 3d movement.

Still, I've no idea how much experience you have of animating, but there are no easy routes, no short cuts, no way to avoid hard graft.

The best advice I can give you is to simply practice.

As for the bullet effects, you could make a movie clip of a circle and have it alpha out after 5 seconds or so in a trail behind your bullet graphic.

It'd probably be easier to do by hand rather than actionscripting it. Just experiment. ;)

I'm not exactyl sure what you're asking, if you're talking about linking the movie up on other sites, you'll need to change the address of the "src" parameter of the object or embed tags in the code.

Say you've got you movie on geocities and the movie was called "mymovie.swf" the full URL, when you uploaded it would probably be "http://www.geocities.com/myusername/mymovie.swf"

So just make sure if you're linking it from elsewhere that you change the file to the full URL, otherwise it will never load.

And avoid spaces in your filnames too, that's another killer..! ;)

ARGh.. First things first, before you start spending cash on graphics tablets, get your head into using the tools available to you in flash.

first off, go through the tutorials and get your head around tweening and such.

Then have a play with layers..

Tracing images is an easy way to get nice looking characters in your flms, but hell, it's more rewarding to draw the stuff yourself.

You can only get better by practicing, the more you put it off the longer it will be before you can truly say a movie is your own.

He's got a point, you can't click the button to get flash if you don't have flash to view the button to be able to click it.

Ah well, think about an image or text link instead, or check out some of the java-script flash detection scripts there are knocking about, since you can re-direct people to an html version of the site ( if you have/want one) while they download the flash player.
