Basically, you should at least feel safe. You're technically making backups of dvd's you've legally bought. Unless you actively sell those copies for your own profit and gains, no one is going to come after you.

Well, if you say something along the lines of "why do you watch this shit?" she'll just get the impression that it's something not everyone else does, and thus in her doing it gives her an identity. By insulting it, it could potentially twist itself even further into her personality, thus she'll watch those things even more. You're best off just praying that upon her maturity, she'll reject those shows and move on.

Hope you had all of your stuff backed up. I have my entire mac partition cloned onto some random external USB harddrive, so in case my laptop's HD fails or something I can just run my computer from that until I get a new drive to clone everything onto.

A lot of windows programs bundle in this other bloatware, like toolbars and antivirus stuff, which is all complete shit.
