i like the part, but it should be more detailed, i mean, the eating part, the earth shouldnt just disappear, it shouldnt fade, and the best thing is to dont use the sun muth-opening in a MC, so that u can "sync" the earth's disappearing more realistic
Yeah, exactly. I did really would of liked the mouth being more FBF with the sun. The sun's mouth actually OPENING, not just a black blob. I tried before to explain it but oh well. Here was the link I supplied numerous times as an example of how I wanted it too ://
Even though mine doesn't look much like the sun feature, I didn't bother applying flames or details. Since this is really only an example. Oh well. :[[

Alrighttt, I guess it's good enough.
Well, I really don't want to bug you since you may be a bit busy lately with all the requests. But if you don't mind, I would maybe like a new sig for Newgrounds of some sort. Just make it the regular newgrounds sig dimensions. Please just have it say "Rudy" on the left side. Than have "Tsunami Productions" on the left middle side." Thank you.
Make it look fancy, maybe with a wave of some sort. I don't mind. If you can't do it I understand. Just a thought.
Thank you in advance.

Finished.
Just one thing before you submit it, maybe just fade the earth into his mouth using a tween fading feature instead of just making him randomly disappear. I think a fading effect would make it look a bit better.

For whom who just don't want to copy and paste the link supplied above by the author. Just right click > Copy shortcut > and than paste it in the address bar. Highlighting things are so overrated ;)
Well, I'm rather retarded. I didn't even know it was animated, I thought it was just the banner flashing colors. So I decided to watch actual "watch intro." Part.
One thing I recommend is having a "Skip button" just at the bottom using HTML. Like it saying "Skip Intro - Enter Site." Than just have the introduction automatically play when you go onto the website. They have the option to skip it if they'd like too at the bottom with the HTML link. After the animation is finished use a "stop();" command so it doesn't loop continueslly. But after the animation is finished make sure the whole site logo is there, and have a button to "enter site."
To improve the animation, I believe you should remove the flashing colors in the end. It's rather distracting and unappealing. It does need work. The rather spelling text flying across the screen is rather slow and not so..nicely done. It needs work, that's all I know. Maybe start from scratch over. Plus, remove the music and add a few sound effects instead. The music is a big negative outlook to the site itselfs.
There's my perspective on it. You decide whether to take the advice or not. Hope I helped atleast a little.

Oh well. I saw it though. It's rather plain. You should animate it a bit more to catch people's interest and attention.
I can't really see it. For some reason, everytime I click the link it returns me to this thread.

Hm, the preview is looking pretty sweet. I like the drawing, and I know the picture is a bit smushed but that doesn't really matter at the moment. I can't wait to see the finished piece. I'm liking where your idea is coming from, atleast it's original and unique unlike exploding earths. -_-

Well, size doesn't matter unless you want to put extreme detail into your animations with landscapes, and what not -- drawing it all at once. I got a Wacom Graphire 6x8 which is going to work fine with what I'm doing. Just animation and frame by frame work in Macromedia Flash. The best thing is that, if you really want to apply detail just use the zoom in tool in Flash, it's really not that hard. I think Smaller the better honestly. I don't want to work with a big giant bulky work area. Tom Fulp gave people 6x8 tablets, and they work perfect.
At 7/5/07 01:38 AM, PinkSkull wrote: and my scanner has a job again.. my point is:
I tried that with a few animations honestly. It takes extreme work to draw, than scan, draw than scan. I recommend buying a lightbox though if you don't have a tablet, so your frame by frame work comes out smoother and nicer. Lightboxes, is a box with a light below the plate that makes it easier to trace your own work to make your work alot better and neater. It's for people to either trace other people's work which I don't recommend or just trace your previous work to make it a bit smooth.
Dont get your tablet too near of the speakers or the printer, because they have magnets in it, and they interfere on the tablet.. ruining it >.<
Thank you for that tip honestly. I wouldn't ever of thought of that. It's really going to suck though. I'll be drawing infront of my monitor, and my speakers are right beside them. Than plus, my printer is on my left side. So when I start drawing with my tablet, I'm thinking, I'll unplug the speakers and printer. I won't really need my printer/scanner anyways. And instead of speakers, I'll just hook up my headphones making me able to hear the music in the animation. :]
At 7/5/07 08:27 AM, Smartdog wrote: Rudy, would the tablet you mentioned be a good choice??? Because I'm soon at some point getting tablet.. but I was gonna get like a 250$ one.. But for 99$!! All I would need is50 bucks.. is it a cheapie thing ( I knowits wacom but still) or is it good? and is the size okay?
Yes, the tablet I am getting would be fine for your animations. All you need to do is Frame by frame easier, and if you're good at drawing on paper, than this should be simple for you. Also, if you needed detail just zoom in. Size really doesn't matter. The tablet I'm getting (Wacom Graphire 6x8) includes alot of things.
You can get it in various colors as well. - [White, Silver, Metallic Blue.]
Each package contains:
Graphire4 6X8 pen tablet (with transparent frame)
Graphire4 mouse
Graphire4 pen
Pen stand
Printed user manual
CD with tablet driver software for installation
DVD with valuable software included: Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 3 for editing family photos, Corel® Painter™ Essentials 2 for creating original artwork, and Nik Color Efex Pro™ 2 GE for selectively applying photo enhancements.
Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. :] I can't wait to get mine in the mail. It says "$200" on the official website. But I purchased the Silver one on Amazon, which is from Wacom themselves -- and I got it for around $176.00" which includes shipping and handling. It's a pretty sweet deal.
I hope I helped :]

Sure, your due date can be that time. I'll be submitting around sometime during the 21st, so I'll add your extra the last of the last. I want to give you the most time since you're using easytoons. :)

For some reason, I believe Criss Angel may use subliminal advertising in some of his work. I think he may feature an animal somwheres around that area, than randomly select someone interested, and maybe it's an odd chance that they will draw the picture shown. But Derren Brown, beats Criss and David, by a long run.

I heard he had fiberglass platforms for Criss to walk on, to descend through the pool with ease. And since it's easy accessible, the swimmers can swim around it. Also, I heard he just uses Professional Actors and Actresses for his skits. Hm. I'd prefer to see him in a live show, to believe these things.
At 7/3/07 05:59 PM, Evan wrote: >:( Don't ever call Criss Angel fake, he made a fucking elephant appear out of nowhere... that's not possible. He's amazing.
He is fake. Remember, he's an illusionist. He uses "illusions." He's not a magic man that can do anything, he simply uses illusions to distract you from the real perspective and trick. Of course, I love the guy. He amazes me alot, but I know how he does the walk on water trick, I know how he goes through glass, and I always know many other things including some of his tricks. Despite the way to create these tricks, I still know his downfall.

He can do it safely and legally without a warrant. After the whole hallucinating thing, he soon tells them at the end about what exactly happened. It's pretty amazing on how he does it though. The whole paper money for buying the jewelry was pretty good. And it shows it doesn't work with everyone, how about that hot dog guy going "what is this..it's plain?" Soon after everything, you eventually realize what happens or you fall for his damn tricks. I would love to have his talent.
I really enjoyed the Derren Brown NLP video on YouTube. :D It was pretty damn awesome on how the guys perspective on a gift changed so easily by just mentioned various words, and having the color red surrounding you to convince and trick your mind into something you didn't want to begin with. This guy is genius. I still have to finish watching the rest of his videos, I've watched ALOT of them though. And Guess what, I'm very impressed.
I really don't think this is fake like the things "Criss Angel, and David Blaine" do. I think he's really real, since they are illusionists, he uses logic and science. He just know what he's doing and I'm very impressed by the outcome of each experiment he does.
RE: Adobe Flash CS3 (Flash 9) or Macromedia Flash 8?
In my personal opinion, I think we had enough topics with the whole, "which is better CS3 or Flash 8?" We all know there are slight differences that Flash 9 has that Flash 8 does not.
Flash CS3 Features:
1) Actionscript 3.0
2) Exporting in Flash Player 9 format.
3) Non-Lagging Filters
4) Importing Photoshop Files, in which bring it in all the layers it belongs.
Even though those are pretty shweet features, it still doesn't spark out to me. I honestly would rather stick with Flash 8, than CS3 for one reason. I'm not really into Actionscript, not much is known about AS3 as it is, so why experiment with it, when I have no idea where to start? Also, I don't use too many filters as it is, and having them lag isn't a problem to me. The exporting in Flash 9 format, doesn't really appeal to me either -- Flash 8 is fine.
Along the lines of photoshop, I do have it but I don't usually work with photoshop. I use other programs like Microsoft Picture It! to edit backgrounds. I kind of fail at Photoshop. :) I know the basics, but no advance stuff. So Flash 8 it is for me. That's my choice.
carry on...new topic...
Derren Brown
Derren Brown is pretty impressive with his work. Many of his work, involves manipulating people into doing things they would never think of doing. He kind of controls them, mentally and they soon fall right into his trap. He has a pretty amazing technique.
I really like his work. I've been watching alot of the videos on Youtube.
Discuss, your opinions on this man!
I wasn't that interested in the game. I don't think it is going to score as good as you expect on Newgrounds. The Gnome was a bit glitchy, but I guess it's unique. Well, the idea that is. Who would think of a Gnome falling from the sky collecting fruit?
Maybe, change the backgrounds a bit for other levels maybe...so it varies? Eh, you may have -- I didn't look through the game more than the second level. I got bored with it after a while.
Well, I rate this game:
2.5/5.
It needs work.
Subliminal Advertising/ Messages
What exactly are your thoughts on Subliminal Advertising/Messages? I find them rather amazing at times, than again some are quite horrible. The other day I was watching the "entertainment box" And suddenly a commercial came on to the TV. It was actually a Wal-Greens commercial, advertising their products. Suddenly a CHIA PET flashed on the screen really quick than the commercial continued as if nothing ever happened. I don't quite know if it was a glitch or not. But it's quite ironic.
Subliminal Advertising Trick - We All Fall For It.
The link above is linked to a YouTube video explaining on how our mind can be persuaded and influenced into doing things without even knowing it. It's quite the interesting video, I would like to share with the Reg Lounge Group. :]

First, it's the V-Cam. It's a actionscripted movie clip, that you can move around with tweens and what not. It is designed to move anywheres in an animation when tweened.

Why not use the search or google, before searching for it though?
