lmao. I created that almost 3 years ago ^-^ And besides, I never traced that, I looked at the drawing for reference and drawn it a while back ;)

Meh, had to resubmit it.

I understand that people know it's not his idea or art form, but what triggers my mood is that he had the nerve to TRACE basically the whole animation scheme rather than animating it himself... He shouldn't of just traced it and dubbed his own voice in there, that's kind of like plagiarism in a way.

Sprite movies are made for ripping, basic drawings and animation aren't. People make sprites to make parody animations with.. People KNOW that those people ripped those sprites.. With animation, it seems to be different.

lmao, didn't expect for you to take my replied post so serious. But honestly, I wouldn't flag it, I was just saying most of the animation is totally ripped.

Liljim seemed to response to me:

I honestly have NO idea what went wrong there. I've spent the past 30 minutes or so consulting with my peers and even after carefully examining the code, we can't figure out what could have happened. Would you be terribly disappointed if I asked you to resubmit the works?

I haven't heard of anything like this happening in at least 5 years (there were issues way back when), so hopefully (unfortunately not for you :() this is just some freak anomaly....

Let me know how you get on, if this is a persistent problem, I definitely want to get to the bottom of it - thank you for contacting me about it.

The following submission called, Metal Gear Egoraptor is a parody created by Ghost225.

As many didn't quite enjoy the parody that much, I was reviewing it today, and noticed it looked vaguely familiar -- So I YouTubed it and found Egoraptor's Metal Gear Awesome is Not On YouTube submission.

If you look at the animation, it's traced exactly from that video, which is really disappointing =(

Hey everyone, I apologize for the lack of activity in this collab. Please don't let it die -- I'll try to update it once the In My Arms Collab is complete.

Response to: The Flash 'Reg' Lounge Posted January 28th, 2009 in Game Development

I'm so pissed -- Read this:

Hey Tom,

I was just updating my two flash submission: 52WK01: Birthday Wishes! and 52WK03: Peaches And Daisies! And when I reuploaded the updated .swf file -- it first said "YOU DO NOT OWN THIS FLASH SUBMISSION", so I exited the window and it than deleted my two submissions off my Newgrounds account.

I don't quite know what this did this, but please tell me -- so I'll know what happened since I probably will have to reupload them again? ;/

Here are the links for the two:
Week 1: Birthday Wishes! l <a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/477506">View Here!</a>
Week 3: Peaches and Daisies l <a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/479629">View Here!</a>

Hopefully, we can fix this =(
Thanks.

Save them as .png files, that saves a lot of space. JPEG is a ridiculous file format in flash, and maxes out a lot of memory.

Well, that planned release date is whenever I get in touch with everyone and glue it all together nicely. Hopefully, it'll be in the portal by Valentines Day ;) For a nice sweet finish on a wonderful day of love and happiness =)

Oh... and a day full of money spending, and commercially involved cards as we spend 40-60$ on a bouquet of roses since they jack the prices up for a lousy day.
HMPH.

Lmao, I totally didn't remove some sound bits from people's movie clips so in that version preview jawn -- There are the following errors:

+Fucked Up Sound Clips (Overlapped and echoed)
+Messed up tweens
+Missing Parts
+Fucked up Symbols (misplaced?)

The messed up misplaced symbols is result of decompiling the .swf I believe. So bare with me, it's whatever right now. I apologize =(

Response to: Jon Foreman - In My Arms Collab Posted January 25th, 2009 in Game Development

Anddddd, BIG UPDATE.

At the moment, the flash is at 5 MB and I started to compile it into one Flash File so everyone can have their fun and watch it :3 As it stands, This is how it is so far. There are some missing parts, and of course that's not how the preloader and menu is going to be but meh, it's whatever. The audio is also a bit choppy at some points since it's the original cut up parts in it, I'll replace that layer with the actual song when I actually finish it.

Those are the only parts I have, I had to decompile Theo-Art and GateKeeperGirls .swf files and include them though. So both of you, please send in your work so I can have the original .fla in FLASH 8 FORMAT.

Also, Willobeen dropped out of the collab so we have an open part to be filled, which is Part 4.
DOWNLOAD HERE!

I haven't heard anything from Night-Mare besides that he's still in the collab, and I would love to hear some word from Tystarr and Atomic-Noddle. So please people, keep in touch! The deadline is approaching, and Tarienn and I are desperately working on getting this together. He's making the menu and intro, which is looking fantastic by the way. =)

Alrighty. Everyone keep in touch and let's please get this thing going.

Lmao, I think it's just you. Oh, and everyone we have a new part open -- so we could use Andy-Parker's work for that, but I may need a little bit of fill in frames -- Willobeen or whatever dropped out so Part 4 (instrumental) is open.

I could always start putting the collab together if you guys want and than you guys can see how it's looking so far, since I have time now.
