Hello Voice Actors!

I have quite a lot of roles to audition for! PM me with your tryout!

Genre: Sci-Fi Action Comedy (Anime)

Setting: The series will take place mostly on a Space Station City, and a bit on the planet the Station orbits.

Characters: (F/M) Female/Male Roles

(F) Niri (Lead) ; [Near-E] Niri is a Student in high school. She has a punk-y personality and Is madly obsessed with becoming a Hero to save people. She Idolizes Captain Hero.

(M) Albert (Supporting): Albert is a nerdy high school student, he is your typical anime nerd kid.

(M) Teacher (Supporting): The teacher is a middle aged tired worn out teacher, who doesn't really seem to try or have any passion for teaching.

(F) Female Student: Not important enough to have named, but she has a few lines, she's the preppy nerdy girl in class.

(M) Zach (Extra) : Class Clown, nervous.

(M?) Captain Hero (Supporting): Captain Hero is a Burly Flamboyant super hero. He is super lame, and super obnoxious. Think of a Super Hero Taric from League of Legends, with personality.

Audition Lines-

Niri: "I'm just your Average girl, I go to school In Space, Fight Crime, do homework and daydream about the most kickass super hero of all time. Captain Hero, he's so freaking cool!"

Albert, Teacher, Female Student, Zach:

"You won't believe the day I had, First a robotic elephant trampled the school, and now I'm stuck in a Rocketship with Captain Hero.."

Captain Hero: "-oooOOOOOOoo- It looks like my work here is done, another case of justice being served with an Ice cold glass of Love and Peace!"

Yeah, with the lack of screenshots and updates from everybody I kind of expected it. But it's ok I can use all of the great Ideas I wanted to use for the first part in the second. I already have my part for it figure out.

I will likely post on my Userpage blog thingy updates, as for this thread I will let it die off.

Unless anybody else has anything to add the collaboration will be submitted later today.

Those who have been invited to the project may view the final product at this time. If there is anything you notice out of place mention so here so I can fix it. ( OR PM me if its like really embarrassing or whatever idk... )

On OCT 31st, I will also post the collaboration on youtube with appropriate crediting going where it is needed.

I have a finished product made, unless we have anybody add anything to the collab I can release it whenever.

UPDATE:

Currently just waiting until the 28th for anybody that would like to make something, they still have a little time.

On the 28th I will finish the project and move to pre-release. If there are no bugs or errors, will release soon after.

The way collaborations work here on Newgrounds; typically, is users will submit a finalized animation to the collaboration organizer (Usually the .fla). The organizer will put all of the final parts together and make sure everything runs smoothly. Then he submits the work and invites everybody involved in on the project. In this case I'll just need the .swf to convert using swivel.

Flash 8 is a strong program, I started on Flash 5 myself and have experience with most versions. Great place to start with animation. Depending on what you plan on doing with Flash in the future, maybe look into ToonBoom if you're pursuing animation solely. I know a lot of great animators use ToonBoom over flash.

For those of you still not understanding it, there is not an "important" subject that is in the room. As long as the end result is creepy/suspenseful/horror themed. I want the animator to use their imagination to come up with something classically terrifying.

The sequence of events will play similar to "Groundhog Day" But not comedy.

So for example, right after my part where the bug thing kills the girl. I'll play a transitional scene like this Then say your part will start. ( As if everything before didn't even happen )

So the end piece will seem like the girl has been in the room for a long time, has had a ton of traumatic experiences that were all psychological ( in theory ).

Personally I'd like to see more original characters in this, I think that you being a creative person could come up with something more elusive then Tricky The Clown. I just feel that Tricky will pull away from the actual content of the collaboration.

Any chance you have some other ideas?

If you do make the Tricky the Clown piece and it doesn't take away from the theme too much I'll allow it, but be warned that I am not feeling too strongly about it already.
