I agree that listening to premade loops on Reason gets old. It's like seeing Microsoft clipart on Powerpoint presentations. I am a faithful fan of FL. You have the power to change anything (Provided you are skilled enough)

I agree, Newgrounds isn't overrated what so ever. The audio portal is for the free music for flash users however I just dont believe the newgrounds team understood how many people would be using this site to upload their music and how many potential musicians would be out there these past years, so yea your expected to be a fish in the sea just like real life here. You gotta draw in your audience like in real life and make them want to review your work. If a person has to review you to post a song, yea it might yeild more reviews but they will be half hearted - not like any of the truthful and helpful comments I receive here from a song. Also it helps to critique your own work as well and submit only finished pieces, because when you submit a total failure it will yeild less reviews because the amount of things to cover would take too long and also shows that you are probably not interested in creating music enough to help yourself.

Thats my two cents.

Just produced a new song! Finally, hours and hours of tweaking led me to this winter inspiration.

Red7 - Coniferous Blizzard

Thought I would hold up on the drum and bass and work on my techno. Hope you all enjoy!

If you try to make him like what you like then he will eventually become your clone which dosn't make for a real diverse friendship. However, If you must have him change his personality and life style which makes him unique, you should read up on some Sociology about how people need to "Justify their irrational decisions"

I'm wayyy too poor to buy anything cause of college so I stick with using my FL studios and find alternatives to the real thing. I will be buying however in the near future a small midi keyboard for FL that only has about 2 octets on it. Like I said very small hehe. Maybe in the future if I go any bigger with my audio I might but as for right now I'm doin just fine.

Dont' worry this has to deal with the audio forum. I just got a new mother boad, about 1 gig of ddr2 ram and a intel core 2 duo 2.13ghz processor and was wondering if I'll notice an increase in performance doing audio work on my comp? My old processor was a 2.4ghz intel pentium 4 processor. I also havent installed it yet either so if you all have a very nice guide to install it and configure win xp to it I'd be forever in your debt. I know I could just google the guide but I want one thats already been tested and works cause all this cost me about $500 or so.

Holy snap son! You did just not do that!

Anywho if your workin with fruity loops I always find that downloading music packs helps me to get some modivation. As far as inspiration well.. I do alot of my songs based on what I see so if you can think of an imiganiary place youd like to be right now how would it sound if there were background music to it.

Yea yea ... Sounds weird as hell but think it could be possible? Im working on a track right now that features Egyptian like melodies with industrial synths. Would it be classified as Egyptian Industrial Techno or just Industrial ... I think this might be something maybe?

Mine would have to be Sound Crystals which took me forever to complete and sample. I also had to be critiqued by as many friends as I had while I was making it to see how I could make the song more appealing while keeping my own style.

I was thinking this might make an interesting thread so here goes. In terms of audio and such what would make you "Roll over in your grave" My example is:

I would roll over in my grave if...
The quality of rap music worsened even more over the years as it became more popular.

You aren't just restricted to just one about audio but if you do go outside of the box do mention atleast one that deals with audio.
