Provisional votes are not intended to count. Basically they are used to allow people who haven't registered a chance to vote. This type of ballot was not originally intended as a way for acual counting votes unless the voter registration office found thier name in the registered.

So in essence they are not intended to count in 95% of the cases.

I know this because I have worked at the polls on an election day.

Honestly that has to be the biggest croc of crud i have ever heard of. I thought that was what they whole system was based off of. So what if people decide the mass vote as a group for a movie or if they are like me and just happen to like or dislike the movie and vote the way they think.

Just because groups of people think the same way doesn't make them evil scum for lack of a better description.

This is the very reason that NG is annoying me more and more and makes me not enjoy being on the site most of the time...

Here is an idea to go along with the ideas that this thread has brought. Let's just do away with the voting system and let the mods say what is good and what is bad and the ones that disagree are fools and should be cast aside like rubbish.

If you haven't noticed by now, (which would make you pretty darn naive) I am pretty darn annoyed about this whole state of affairs.

This reminds me of the thing that Wade did about members of the clock crew and other flash groups joining together to blam Foamy stuff and Wade comming out and getting mad because a group of folks joined together to vote with a common dislike of a movie in the way they thought best.

I will give you that alternate IP voting is a tricky one but as for groups of people voting like that, I don't see the proper reasoning for that other than somebody is getting extra money somewhere and doesn't want anybody to go against that source....
