Hey all - I'd love to see a rendition of one of my favorite characters from my series -
Six for Echo Force Zero

Cant wait to see if anyone takes it on!

if you want people to have you do voices in their projects, put up a voice demo on your page - - that's the main way people on ngs scout for voice talent.

putting up a post like this and having no examples of your work wont really interest many people, since they dont know what you sound like

also - if you want my personal opinion- dont overload your demo with silly russian accents...people want voices they can use for normal characters (people in the office, hero protagonists, video game people, ect..)

i find it absolutely ridiculous that that car thing is actually a pokemon...

i think you are really talking about a good happy medium between tweening and frame by frame

it talks about how to combine the "100 frame method" and the "1000 frame method" as you put it - -

naturally using tweens will allow less drawings to be needed...and frame by frame will demand more - -

Also, sorry to say, but most of the ideas you've suggested, like Star Wars and Mortal Kombat, have been done many times before.

I have never seen a collab or ( kollab ) with 10+ contributors, good solid animations, & nice menu controls done with MK or starwars -

this was a great collab in recent years imo

just doesnt feel like there's that many collabs running anymore - -

used to be people made collab threads that people could really sink their teeth into - - ex: Pirates Collab, MetalGear collab, Sonic Collab, Matrix collab ect...

now it seem people wanna make really random and non relate-able ideas (not to name names) ex: "silly collab", "Joe's Day Collab" or "Weirdness collab"...things like that

either those, or sprite collabs are most of what are kickin around in the BBS these days

- - my advice to anyone who wants to run a Collab that people will want to join & can be successful is this:

1- make it an idea everyone knows and can easily make a part for ( earlier mentioned Mortal Kombat Collab, Starwars Collab, Madmen collab....anything that every one knows and likes)

2-PM people to join and don't only rely on the bbs -(there are lots of newgrounders who dont check it)

SO that's all I got!

i hope someone starts something cool soon! collabs are a great opportunity if you dont have heaps of time to work on full length toons

do you want the .fla linked in here or sent to you? or just whatever works

This deadline should work great - right as i am finishing EFZ: vol1

cant wait to start! HOWEVER - i think the song should be picked and chopped up into pieces first - -because if the song is dumb...it will be less fun to participate - - like that song " LOVE HURTS!!! YAA YAA" would be really dumb haha

i don't really think this should be released - - maybe FNR should just stockpile the completed parts and then reboot it next year - - releasing it now would just look sloppy on our part

although i think i am looking for something with a bit of a more tangeble lead or a more relateable melody

so the conclusion of production on the first episode of Echo Force Zero ( my series) is coming to an end and the release is SOON!

i am finishing up a few scenes and tying up some loose ends and i am looking for music for the credits.

if you can recommend some music - or are even willing to make something - i just really need about 30 seconds of music - - what i am looking for is a sort of somber-ish song, in a minor key that feels really emotional and will leave the viewer feeling unsure and ready to see the next VOLUME!

well i might need some advice - -

i had always been a huge fan of his work - so much so, that i actually invented a few scenes to happen later on in my series TO a few of his songs.

i did download the songs, and still have them (and still want to use them in my series when the time comes)

i just assumed he pulled his songs to pursue a more professional career...

do you guys think its fine if i still use "his" music in my series?

@backfrompurgatory - perhaps you can help me allocate credit where it belongs?
