so im thinking of grabbin a tablet for my bday....

but im worried. im really attached to working with my mouse. im sure the tablet will help me ...but i have concerns

- how do u use hotkeys?? do u have ur left hand (providing im a righty ) on ur keyboard while ur other is using the pen?

-why do some come with such a small area....i want a larger area to draw in but all the big ones are fuckin expensive.

-double clicking? (gettin into symbols and shit)

That makes no logical sense. I have no programing skill whatsoever so how am I supposed to do a solo project? These rules don't allow anyone without some sort of musical/programing skill which I think is stupid. So I ask how is it "everything, by everyone" if some people in the category "everyone" have no other talent besides voice acting?

wrong. i dont know any programming either.

the rules are telling you - you need to be an animator in order to start a flash animation collab...if u are a musician im sure u can collab without that batting average to make some music project.

these rules are for flash collabs. only fair the person running has experience and possitive feedback.

no worries. getting 3.5 is super easy now that the batting average calculator is broken - most mods will alow u to create a collab (probly) if u have just one really good submission.

just work hard on one vid and take it from there

use both at the same time. i do that a lot.

like make a movie clip that is fbf - then tween it.

like the movie clip is fbf running in place. then tween it across the screen and ur run will look like some dank nuggets.

so i dont know about you guys but im bored and i dont start drinking for a few hours and i feeling like capitalizing on the fact that its a holiday and there arent many animations our there yet!

SO with out further ado (<sp?) Within 2 hours i this post i want everyone to send me a short 2-2 second piece on the fourth of july! make it funny or whatever the fuck u want.

i am posting this at about 3 o clock (central time...) so just look at what time i posted this and the due date is TWO HOURS LATER!!!

now. what are the rules:

-550 x 400 canvas size
-24fps
-name all symbols as such-> a car is = Redharvest_Car....... , , got it?
-PUT THE WHOLE THING in ONE MOVIE CLIP ( i wont accept anything thats not all in one movie clip)
- no sticks sprites, actionscripting, or vcam

oh and watch the quality...i want good shit.

if i get more than two parts im submitting this shit!
get moving! it only takes an hour to pump out sumthin half decent....and you have TWO!!!
