Sure music is art, but these are people who are not just making music for the fun of it; if so then they should keep their stuff in their houses so they could play them on their headphones in private. Bottom line is is that they are trying to make a living off of it, so money is a factor, and necessary one at that. P2P networks are a great way to reach new artists you don't know about, but it becomes a problem when for example Linkin Park fans, who already have heard most of the songs on the album, decide to donwload the album instead of shelving out the cash, just cuz they're cheap assholes. Like most things, its only okay until it becomes an alternative to actually giving money to support them, just so your selfish ass doesn't have to spend a dime.
