So.. I'm playing around with some melodies. Are we gonna stick with the E Flat minor key signature. If we can all stay in the same key, or produce a relative key change in our melodies, we can make this thing sound great. Anybody agree, or are we just going to paste in 20 differently keyed pieces of music together?

Yeah I'm not sure why Kr1z's list of participants was incomplete... I am still very interested in being a part of this project, I have a score to settle with some nameless Fabbies. :P

JVC Marshmellows
These were purchased as disposable headphones in all actuality. They ended up having the best low frequency response I have ever heard from this price range. They are buds and they are super comfortable to boot! One of the most shocking purchases I have made under 20 bucks.

THESE however, are the best things I have ever experienced. Breathtaking sound.

Topic: Is there a program that can do this

If you buy a Creative brand sound card, it is bundled with some cool software and cool settings for recording. One of the cool functions when recording in creative media player, is to record "what you hear". I have never found an application for fo using this, but it let's you record anything that is coming through your speakers or whatever is happening on your computer. I believe you can download Creative media player by just having any Creative product installed on your computer. A vast list of cool programs come with even the cheapest of sound blaster cards though.

This sounds like quite an undertaking. How is the backbone and beat feel going to be decided. who is in charge of splicing everything together? I would sure enjoy helping out with this.

Your MS delay could be set to low as well. That always creates some gut wrenching distortion or nightmarish sounds. Up it a few ms, then set your program to compensate for the delay you have created.

Personally I wouldn't be messing with that type of ASIO to begin with. Switch to a hardware ASIO or buy a better sound card :P

Guy with a real organ? That would take hours to get a good recording of a real organ. I have a "real organ" and it's for performance only. An organ patch aint going to be much different from the real thing, especially in the mixed quality of recordings we are piecing together.

Has anyone added to my clip? I'd like to hear what people have so far if possible.

That'd be a cryin shame if you posted a bunch of FF music from the Original Soundtracks.

Okay I put down an organ bit, 132 BPM as we mentioned. I can add strings, bass, drums, hell I'll even try to sing. Lets get this project rolling. Let me know if anybody needs help with anything. The dry level of my organ is high, just so the melody is clear, I hope to GOD Chron that you turn that pupply down in the mix. I can add a solo later, just wanted to get some plain jane stuff down so we can get started. This will be fun!
Get to work youz guyz.

Antonio Banderas?!!!!!??? That was different. That organ solo was the bomb, I wish I could play that well, I can lay down a tune like that but it would be step recorded I can't solo pipes like that. I wish we had a drum track layed down to start with, this might be tricky to start off with pipes, I might send a seperate track of some basic drums and bass to lay this down, Just for reference purposes. then people could add a track at the same BPM quite easily, they could even play over the track while recording a new track to add. That's possible for me, everyone elses hardware allow that? This is a big undertaking and I won't even be able to start for another 3 days due to work. Sorry for that, looking forward to the outcome however. This will be fun!

Can we have a BPM to work with, I would like to make your piecing together job much easier. Are we doing the exact phrase-work of the modern version? Any variation whatsoever?
