Please don't bump your thread with comments like that. No one cares what you plan on doing down the road or what your schedule is. We want to see practice and progress. I would highly recommend doing some shading sets using the examples Fifty posted above and bumping your thread with the results. If you can master that, it will make a drastic difference in the outcome of your comics.

Sure, post more. It's hard to really tell what your skills and strengths are form these few images... but it looks like you need to use more layers and cut down on the smudge/smear/blur tools (I have the same problem).

Luis mentioned something about working on that a (long) while back. So according to standard NG time, it should be done around the time your daughter is your age!!
I believe it's because he's uploading them on the behalf of others. Some are html5 or other formats that aren't publicly available yet. The middle link is for a user who passed away last year.

Did you find it? If not, try this link. If you still have trouble, try checking this thread on clickteam's forums.
Oh, hai, Kurt!! :)
So what kind of stuff will participants be asked to do and how long will it take?

Try a different browser.

Oops, I deleted that one without taking into account that the name on this one is real specific. OP, please make a new thread... one for all your stuff and don't ask to be scouted. Chechnya ornery's scouting guide for more info (I can send slink if you can't find it).
Also, Template, please keep snide comments like that to yourself. I'm tired of it and won't ask again.
Thanks.

This sort of thing hasn't happened in a while, so... it's your own fault for only checking in on bad days :P
BUT... I was just thinking to myself that it's really sad that for a lot of new people, the 'welcoming committee' is currently comprised of template88 and Jonny. No wonder no one sticks around. Both of you are needlessly rude to people and it would be nice if you backed off a bit. Not saying you shouldn't post, but try not to be total buttholes when you do. And Jonny, you know better than to bring this crap to the lounge. I am disappoint!

I doubt there's any set rules on that. You just have to do what you think fits.

I also have checked if it is not read only! Please Help!
If you want to upload the fla to your dump and pm the link to me, I can see if it works on my comp. If it doesn't, then you'll know it's the file. If it does, then it's something with your comp.
Why don't you post your stuff to the audio portal? There's also the Audio Advertisement thread in the Audio forum.

In the future, why don't you look/respond to existing VA topics or check the Collabinator instead of making a whole thread for something this minor (not that your project is minor, but the request). If not, make the title more descriptive 'cuz this one seems like you'd need an animator or help with animation... ya know?!
Anyway... glad you got what you needed. Good luck with your project!

Agreed.
How about trying something different... instead of a 'theme/topic' it's an emphasis on a technique/method/process/style. For example... foreshortening, or perspective, or hatching, or surrealism... something like that.

It's unfortunate that it didn't reach the goal, but now that you have a grand total, what does the final break down of prizes/expense division look like ...and who are the judges anyway?

I want to avoid having to run Windows. Is this possible? Which version is compatible and closest to Flash 8? Thanks in advance!
The only version adobe sells is the current one, CS6. It works fine on a Mac. If money is an issue, look into student pricing or the Cloud options.

They're 'commercial grade' (3M Controltac) material... the kind of stuff vehicle wraps are made with, but I dunno about residue.
Anyway... I still need addresses from some of you, so please PM me with that info. It helps if you include a name... even if it's just your first name and last initial. And zip/postal codes! Don't forget those. If they don't get delivered, I don't have more to resend, so... gotta get it right the first (and only) time!!

That's because you can't manipulate a placed, rasterized image. Works the same way in Flash. You need to do the Image Trace bit first and convert it to vector lines. THEN you can use the Shape Builder tool to remove the unwanted white stuff you mentioned.
