I'm all for organization but if someone happens to stumbles upon this topic first ...how would they know what it was about? The only link to the original thread is the one I posted. If you need more than one thread to keep things tidy, that's fine. But at least make them complete, connected and obvious so people get what's going on without having to dig/backtrack.

Didn't even realize it was over already. I'd been keeping an eye out in hopes of sampling all 3 flavors, but never saw them until just last week. A friend posted on FB saying he'd also just tried them as well, so I'm assuming they're new to the whole area.

Blue, black, purple... depends on what look you're going for. An easy way to do it is adjust the Color Effect setting of your symbols, or use a big block that overlays the whole stage and adjust the settings on that if you're doing fbf/non-symbol work... or if you just need the swatches, do the same steps and use the eye dropper to grab the new darker colors.

FYI, there's a search options right up there *points up there* ^ ...If you had searched for 'crop' or 'cropping' you'd see that it's an ongoing issue.

Users that are scouted can see the Unscouted section. If you check something as public/include in the art portal, it'll show up there. People are always checking it for new talent. Once you have at least 4 pieces submitted, you become eligible for scouting. Unscouted users have a limit of 20 pieces. Scouted users have no limit. Lots of people post 4 pics and then sit around and wait. That's a bad idea. The more you post, the better your chances are of getting noticed.

Photo-manipulations and straight up 'collages' are frowned upon in the portal (something like this is ok because there's enough hand drawn stuff included). It's totally ok in the art forum though, so you might want to put that stuff in a 'showcase' thread. That will also get you more exposure and possibly some critiques and tips for improving.

You should say hello and introduce yourself in the Art Forum Lounge too! ;)
