I was a 'counter clerk' at a dry cleaners. I had to take in and tag all the clothes. I think that's where I developed my loathing of cologne/aftershave. I think some of those business men bathed in it.

There was this one guy who looked exactly like George McFly. He would bring in a bag full of clothes each week and they were always... damp. I was the newbie, so I always got stuck helping him ...it was pretty yukky! lol

There is... I guess you have to be coming from a 'collection view' for it to appear. So, click a users art tab (or the 'view all art' arrow). Then you will get that option ...I think.

Never really use the live paint bucket, but, hopefully these steps will still work.

Expand and ungroup everything so you just have paths.
Select everything and go to Object > Path > Outline stroke.
Select all of the white shapes (select > same fill color).
Hold option key (or window equivalent) and click merge on the pathfinder panel. Click expand.
Select everything, click trim (pathfinder).

You should now be able to select the white and change it's transparency.

I thought so... how about yours?

Your name of Brendon gives you a highly sensitive, idealistic, and intuitive nature.

You could be expressive and creative in the arts, music, or drama.

Since you are not inclined to give due consideration to practical and business matters, you could miss out on reaching a level of financial success appropriate for your efforts and abilities.

You feel and sense much that you do not fully understand, and you can be deeply influenced through the thoughts of others without realizing just how you are being affected.

Others are inclined to take advantage of your generosity and friendliness and then, when there is a lack of reciprocation, you can feel despondent and disillusioned.

Moods are a problem as you can be highly inspired one minute, and the next become quite irritated and annoyed over some ill-timed remark or lack of consideration on the part of someone close to you.

You could suffer through nervous breakdowns, as well as disturbing thoughts, which could affect your concentration and memory.

Also, disorders in the fluid functions could arise.

Response to: What does your birth name mean? Posted October 18th, 2014 in General

first name: reborn/rebirth
last name: landmark, 'pillar of the community'

I came across another site and I think the results were pretty accurate.

Edit the url to avoid the whole email business.
Replace 'john' with your name and male/female accordingly:

http://www.kabalarians.com/male/john.htm

Your name of Renae contributes sensitive, creative, and idealistic qualities to your nature that could be expressed in a variety of literary or artistic fields.

You desire harmony and refinement in your environment and in all your personal associations.

Although mentally quick and intuitive in recognizing the thoughts and feelings of others, you experience a lack of fluency in verbal expression in responding.

Kind but shy, you appear calm but suffer inwardly from nervous tension that saps your strength.

...etc.

Now I must check my horoscope! ;P

Someone here might be able to help you, but you'd probably have better luck in the Flash forum (since this is the animation forum ;P).

If you make a post there (would be helpful here too), be sure to specify which version of actionscript you're using... and maybe put that symbol in a fla by itself, upload it to your dump and include the link so people can open it to see how you have things set up.

Good luck.

Unlike other sites (where you're penalized/banned for promoting your stuff to try to get more views/votes), Newgrounds actually encourages it! Promote your brains out!! Tell your friends, neighbors, (not your enemies, they'll down-vote!), any and everyone you know... to come here and check out your page, content, and everything else this site has to offer. It helps you and it helps Newgrounds!

General is the most active, but overall the forums are pretty dead compared to how they used to be.

There's a little stat section just below the nav bar. Used to be well over 1,300 users a day making thousands of posts. But that's been steadily dropping. Now it's around the 250 mark with barley 1,000 posts. The lowest I've see (on a day where there weren't any site issues) was 236 users. But I have a feeling that will drop even lower.

There's been talk about ways to increase traffic but nothing seems to be working. It doesn't help that some of the remaining and most regular posters are also some of the worst. The users that are 'do-er's' have moved on to other sites and all that's left here are the lazy, non-contributors who have the attitude of 'Yeah, make it better. Bring in more traffic. I'll just kick back, watch, then complain about how much it sucks.'

We need more do-er's.

How active are the forums?

I think "if I were to die in a car accident or something tomorrow and someone had to come clean out my house, what would they think?" They'd probably be like "wtf? why did she keep this? It's garbage."

So I've actually gotten rid of a lot of stuff over the last several months. My mom likes to have garage sales so I've been taking it to her place. What she doesn't sell by the end of the season will go to charity. Either way, it's gone from here! Definitely feels good to declutter!

Maybe you could do some of both? Have a couple of the more expensive tablets to appeal to the more seasoned artists looking to replace or upgrade, and some of the less expensive ones for people just getting started.

The fact that you're even considering doing a giveaway at all is a positive sign and that makes me happy! :D

I think it's just a matter of what you're prepared to learn. It takes a lot of time and dedication. Once you get the basic principles down (which I've never managed to do, lol), you can probably get decent results in any app.

There are some links in the wiki as well as animation101's news posts. Toonboom and Flash are probably the ones I hear about most often. Whichever you choose, tons of people have tutorials on youtube to get you going, including catroonsmart, HappyHarry, Jazza (he'll be delving onto toonboom soon, so he'll probably have some helpful tuts coming up on that!), and Toonboom (check their site too).

One of the benefits with toonboom is you can download a free version that doesn't expire (at least that's how it used to be).
