If you go back in time, you destroy the arrangements of matter, causing an undecipherable mess once you cease "going back into time"

Response to: Big Bang expansion? Posted January 30th, 2006 in Politics

I thought the Black Hole theory came about in the trenches of World War 1? An artilleryman I believe, in between his calculations of the next shot, was messing around with Einstein's theories. What he did was question what would happen if mass was infinite at one particular point according to Einstein's theories, how would time warp, as well as gravity. He then came to the conclusion that black holes could possibly exist, and nowadays we have implicitly proved their existence through a variety of ways. I'm going to stop rambling now and let you guys look all of this junk on google.

Can you put that in mathematical lingo, I have no clue what you're trying to say.

Anyways, there is a possibility of finding a or b if you're given an additional angle( If your just using the base a^2+b^2=c^2 then you are automatically assuming there is one angle of 90 degrees) Then from there you can use the law of sines to determine all of the other sides. Just a simple reminder, the law of cosines is a^2+b^2-2ab(cosC)=c^2, where C is the angle across from line c(or in other words the only angle that is not touching line segment c). From there you can see how they came about with pythagoreans triangle ( which is when C is equal to 90 which is a right angle).

no cause there are some differences between the classes

Which is why you modify the constructors, that would most likely work

Well, in C++ there is no Object class, but you can probably define your own Object class. Then from there it MIGHT work. If not, you can always cast to the base class.

Response to: Patriot Act, or not? Posted January 23rd, 2006 in Politics

I'm not against the Patriot Act, but I do feel that it needs to be rewritten and less vague. In order for myself to support the continuation of the Patriot Act, I feel that it needs to better describe on whom the Act is intended for, the terrorists and the illicit activities that occur within the US boundaries. The vaguety of the current Act just allows too many law-abiding citizens to be infringed of their right of privacy.

Then what you do is search on google "assigning static ip addresses [name of router]" and that should do it. That will tell you how to assign a static ip address for the particular router.

It doesn't change your ip. What it does is the cPanel sees the proxy server's ip whenever your trying to log in because the proxy server is the one getting the data! All a proxy-server is is a middle-man, and as such there is no way for the cPanel to actually detect your own ip address.

Anyways, why the fuck would you block your own ip address?

Response to: Rape Posted December 24th, 2005 in Politics

The reason I asked this was because of an event that I have heard third-hand. I've been curious just what makes a person want to do something of this nature, to violate the sanctity of one's own body. How can somebody go through an act that they know will fuck with the person for the rest of their lives? Is there no humanity, no "golden-rule"? Is it society's fault for allowing a man crave for whatever kind of satisfaction is received, or is it rather the fault of the craver?

Response to: Is the universe infinite? Posted December 24th, 2005 in Politics

In general, the universe is usually defined as the entire collection of galaxies, the total summation of all energies. Like I hypothesized earlier, I believe that there was a big bang for every galaxy formed. I also feel that there are big bangs within and outside of what we collectively know. It would fit in with the entire idea that nature is by itself self-repeating in a fractal-like pattern.

I am afraid you are wrong. C++ and C are two completely seperate languages, C++ is not an addon or subset of C. It was ment as a completely different language and an object oriented one at that. They have fundamental differences, namely, pointers and how memory allocation is done.

The syntax, and most of the programming is completey the same. The only reason the memory allocation is indeed different is to allow the ability for classes to have constructors and destructors. The pointers act exactly the same, except the only difference is adding a new thing called a reference. Overall though, C++ is just a superset of the C language, moreso of the C99 standard then the C standard that was originally developed.

Response to: who uses C Posted December 24th, 2005 in Programming

Linus Torvald and the linux community uses C.

Have you ever thought that big bang was just a minor event in the whole scheme of the universe? A big bang for every galaxy maybe?

You'll also have to get a video card, memory, and a hard drive to add with that. My recommendations:

2 160GB(So 320GB Total) hard drives in a RAID-0, which is better for performance...
Newegg.com $169 Including S/H
or you can just go with a solo-drive and get it for $84.50

An Athlon 64 3500+, which comes with a cooling device so you don't have to worry about that. It is also manufactured with the new, smaller process which inputs less voltage, and as such emits less heat.
Newegg.com $202 Including S/H

1GB of Ram Newegg.com $82 Including S/H

Radeon X800GTO (I'm an ATI fan..) Newegg.com $147 Including S/H

There are of course cheaper options, as well as more expensive ones.
