Anyways I am suggesting that our military should be making use of tactics such as raping our enemy's family and tearing off their limbs and genocide to make the world a happier place but that seems a bit extreme. I agree with you mostly. Our "wars" these days can hardly be called wars. If we go to war with someone for good reason, it should be brutal and without mercy.

I'm confused. Why is it media (i use the term loosely) and a lot of people make a huge deal about this? I mean the whole "we don't want these guys in our back yard" tagline you may hear on Faux News or other channels, or maybe an old confused person you know.

Personally I have no problem with moving gitmo prisoners to our own prisons. In fact I think that's the way it should be, there shouldn't be some shady out-of-the-country prison just so we can violate the constitution by torturing them until they submit and cough up inaccurate information.

He's fun for a while, but his voice kinda gets on my nerves after a while. His news is radical but mostly fear based like other posters here have already noted.

Another generalization that they limit too much. A smart user can make any OS work for what they need. Linux, Mac, or Windows.

I love Mac hardware & OS but I do notice a large amount of hate for them on here especially.

It seems like most of the people that hate them use all these outdated reasons from the 90's of why they hate them, or just false information.

Stuff like,
"not enough software" [90's]
"all about looks" [made up]
"they cost too much" [90's]
"no compatibility" [90's]

Or they use the excuse there's no games but if gaming is no way to choose an OS. There's stuff like PS3, Xbox360, and Wii for that.

I can sorta relate to the OP. When I first tried beer it tasted awful I thought. And sorta thought they all did for a bit until I revisited beer & started trying all sorts of different ones.

Now I like a whole wide variety even though there's still some I don't care for, like Budweiser (except American Ale, that stuff's good).

I think your taste/smell develops as you find ones you like you'll taste the hops better & what not.

"everyone" is just a loaded statement. To me music videos are one of the ultimate visualizer to watch with the music. And not having cable/satellite this station was a true godsend for me.

And yes I've heard of Music on Demand channels, friends that have cable have them but that's just music right?

Why don't they "get it"?

So this local music video station started broadcasting earlier this year sometime in Arizona on dtv channel 38-3. And I thought it was the greatest thing ever.

They showed nothing but 80's music videos, and the occasional commercial break, with like 1 hour a day of paid programming. It was everything a music station should be. When one music video ends, another started.

No stupid shows, no retarded hosts/personalities. There wasn't even station identification. Just commercials and great 80's music videos.

Now they've started becoming like other retarded music video stations having station identification... I swear to god/allah/hannaman the monkey god that if they make one more step towards becoming like MTV/VH1/Fuse I will boycott this station like the others.

Why can't music video channels ever just show music videos?! It was wonderful having a station where I KNEW that if I flip it on I would either see 1 of 2 things, a MUSIC VIDEO, or a commerical.

I thought the site crackle.com or something used to do that.

I have cycling tastes in music but a current fav for that niche is Santana, the album Moonflower.

I've actually been asked by 2 different non-gamers if the PS3 and Xbox 360 games are "interactive".

I responded politely but the temptation was huge to react somewhat like "WTF do you think? If a video game was non-interactive wouldn't that just make it a fucking video?"
