Um... sure... Says a guy that bases the public school system on one typing error in an informal BBS... And yes I can vote, that's the only thing you've said that's made any sense so far.

I see you're a Windows user, and play Left 4 Dead. And maybe self-conscious about owning stuffed animals.

What schools should do more of is help you figure out what you want to do hobby-wise at a young age. If you want to be good at something, you have to start ASAP but ultimately, we don't need dancers and actors, it's just entertainment. I'd rather form one biochemist than 40 graphic designers.

Neither do most other people's religious views.... get used to it.
Reincarnation doesn't help you learn anything, it just resets you over and over and over again.
Yeah and you "know" that how? Are you a God or some immortal being? lol
That's like saying you want to attain ultimate wisdom by wiping your memory clean every week. Good luck.
You totally misunderstand... But whatever. You keep on thinking you know everything.

You just got told your own history :P
Just because the Declaration of Independence wasn't signed doesn't mean people here didn't think of themselves as Americans already. So what you're saying is most Colonists thought of themselves as the British Empire and as soon as the Declaration of Independence is signed everything they did before is just washed away and blamed on the British? "got told"? Not hardly.
Isn't this kind of bullshit nonsense what myspace and facebook are for?

So when I tell my dad that I've been sitting, he starts going off about why I should stand and shit. So do you think I should have to stand or not?
Sure, don't stand if you wanna piss on the graves of the very people that made your freedoms and possibly even your existence in this country as it is. Sure.
I'm sure if you could ask veterans of the revolutionary war (in a hypothetical heaven or something) if you should stand they'd want you to. I don't care if you do or not really. But I'm almost positive they would prefer you stand.

Either that or go listen to Metallica and play air-guitar, bu toyu know you'll never be as epic as them, not even God can match their awesomeness.
WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU STILL HERE?? Get out their and ride the fucking lightning!!

Whoa, relax dude. Music like other art forms transcends time and space, and is beautiful forever. And while I really like Metallica, you are dead wrong. Not everyone likes them, and that's cool.

It could be whatever we make it. Bomb the shit out of key areas and brutally take the place. Then the rebuilding process should spur economic growth and it wouldn't necessarily be a "Islam majority" or whatever you wanna call the place.
Build some casinos, create infrastructure with all the creation other regular businesses... Maybe create incentives for our people to colonize there like low, or no taxes, or something. Pretty soon you see booming economy. Sure there might be some terrorist groups that missed getting incinerated but our superior military forces can get 'em as they find 'em.
I see it as just land, our country is made up of our citizens.

If they weren't allowed to make those kind of games, the question of why can't developers make those kind of games can just as easily be asked.
No one says you have to play those games, look at the Wii, it hardly has any violent titles compared to the other 2 consoles; And there's plenty non-violent ones on the other 2 anyways. As much as I hate them, ESRB ratings kinda saved first amendment rights for video games. They can be as violent as they want as long as they're rated.

Call me what you will. I just think war, if it's done... should be all-out brute force, or should not be done at all. And with things the USA has done in the past, it should not be that outlandish, or controversial.
I wouldn't really call my religion anything. Buddhism most closely fits my views of afterlife/reincarnation, but I don't necessarily believe in other parts of Buddhism.
I don't know if there's a God, so I don't believe nor disbelieve in one. Reincarnation I definitely believe though.
One theory I have is that this world is just one big hell where we learn lessons until we learn them all and reach nirvana and get to leave to be with others who've learned.

At 25 they have very little real world experience, and are very limited on what they will know.
Well it's up to the public to decide that. If they don't have what it takes it's not likely they'll get in at all. There are some outstanding 25 year olds that would be up to the job.
As far as a term limit, I agree with this completely. While I think that the term limits should be longer than the Presidents, 10 years should be good enough of one.
I should clarify that I didn't mean a 10 year term (even though it may have sounded like that). I mean 10 years total served.
So maybe 25-40 or something like that with a 10 year limit to how many years they can serve. So if someone's 36 and they've already served 4 2-year terms, they would only be able to serve 1 more 2-year term.
I propose not a term limit, but an age limit. Lets say 35, and lower the age minimum to 25.
This way whoever gets into office only has 10 years to do what they want to do. Which would hopefully give them incentive to work quickly to get things done, and incite more change in who's in charge since there's just a 10 year window in every candidate's life when they can be elected.
Also this way there are only people in office who are up to date on culture and modern life. Not Senators like McCain who can't even check their own email. Or like Senator Leiberman (spelling?) in 1993 dictating that videogames need a rating system when he's never even played one.
I couldn't disagree with the OP more on everything except the non-team sports phys ed. I agree there's too much emphasis on team sports in Elementary & High Schools. And way too much funding spent in that area that could be better spent in core classes like Math, Science, English, or in electives like band/music.
Like take the football programs of most High Schools. Total waste of money since most of those kids after HS don't go on to play in college.
I'm wondering why after 9/11 there wasn't just an all-out brutal rape war to forcefully take Afghanistan and annex it as a property of the good ol' USA. It'd be like having another Arizona, except with even less to do. Or you could put casinos there and it'd be like another Nevada.
Instead we have this economically painful occupation you can hardly call a war that's taking years & years. And how hard can it be to destroy these people with all the technology and weapons we have compared to the shitty makeshift equipment they're fighting with?
After all, isn't that sorta how we started? Taking this most of this land forcefully from the Native Americans? So why can't we just forcefully take some more land that way, especially since there was actually a REASON (9/11) to do it?

An AMERICAN bathroom mind you. I've been to bad parts of Mexico where in a McDonalds there was no stall dividers and shit was just smeared all over the walls because they have no respect for public property in that particular area, or for whatever reason. I did "flush and suck it up" as you say in this case, I just expect some maturity and responsibility at a college campus I guess.

I'm not OCD. If people followed your philosophy, toilets would be overflowing with shit until the janitor at night comes on to clean the joint. It's your shit, and it's your job to flush it down, not the next person's. Maybe you need to go back to Elementary School to learn about how that works.

There's a class on terrorism? Where do you go to school? Afghanistan? And if so emotion at that part is probably strictly reprimanded.

Yeah, had I seen the WIll Smith one with no knowledge of the Novel I'd have thought it was alright. But as a fan of the novel and having read it first I was appalled that it was even named I Am Legend.
What's the deal with people not flushing after taking a shit?
I walked into a bathroom to take a dump at my college and all 3 stalls of said bathroom had gigantic turds in them. Seriously, is it THAT hard to flush? You could even just kick the flusher with your foot if you don't wanna touch it... And really if you can sit your ass down on a public seat, is touching the handle with your hand that big of a deal?
I guess I could see this in a Elementary School, or Junior High... but a college? Seriously, by then people should be mature enough to respect public facilities.
