I wouldn't mind if alcohol was made illegal. Most 21 year olds aren't responsible enough. Alcohol screws up your mind, and it kills people every day.

Well, that's a good question. Unfortunatly, some people (like Bush) want their country to be a certain religion. Bush wants America to be Christian.
One rule that is not followed often is called Separation of Church and State . It basically means that religion should not influence laws, and vice versa.
Here are two examples of Church and State not being separated.
1: In some states there are laws that ban abortions, because in some religions it is against their law to have an abortion. Therefore, the idiot politician believes everyone should follow that law. It's a person's business to decide that, not the law's.

2: Gay marriages. In some religions, it's wrong. Bush is a strong supporter of stopping those marriages. (Sorry, I'm not using the G Word because I don't want to get banned.)
