What did Blizzard have that changed gaming?
What's a real time strategy?

If you are saying that blizzard started RTS games, you are wrong.
No, I am saying that without Warcraft, RTSes would be a mere shred of the quality they are today. Along with C&C, it popularised the genre.
It introduced multiplayer RTS.
And the second game was incredible. Warcraft two introduced, to my knowledge, fog of war (can see terrain but not enemy units, rather than just the blackness of C&C and other games), for example.
I have to agree with you on this. Both of the companies are mfamous, long lasting, revolutionized a genre, and have an unprecendented level of quality in their games. But I think Blizzard has made mroe games, and thus is the superior company. I'm introducing a new company into this 0.o. Westwood games(until demolished by EA games AKA, the gaming borg). This is another company that revolutionized RTS, until its evil destruction by the hated EA games, who have seemed to take after the borg, of Star Trek.
Westwood games' achievments:
Revolutionized RTS with C&C
Continued to revolutionize RTS through the years with various sequels and spin offs.
One of the first RTS' games in history (after Dune)
Created the Tiberium Universe.
