Well that could be because Sunset actually has a score of 4.5250000 and Silver Coridor has a score of 4.5349999. Perhaps some lower scoring audio's are ranked higher because the system simply hasn't updated the highscore list yet.

Okay lets look at another then. This one emphasizes my point even further...

What is the logic behind the "best tracks ever" list in the audio portal? In the flash portal the highest scoring flashes get the top spots for best flashes. Why is it not the same in the audio portal? I see tracks ranked in the 13000's for score and popularity being listed on the "best tracks ever" list.

I would think that it would get really annoying for him to have to constantly act in character in relation to his television show. Rarely does he break away and just act himself. I think it would be cool to meet the real him rather than the overly expressed phony one.

It happens with any flash I vote on. And yes I just tried returning to the portal instead of refreshing and it still happens. Someone else try it... I can't be the only one.

Before I vote on a flash I'll look at the total number of votes it already has. For example say a flash has a total of 219 votes. When I cast my vote the total will increase to 220 and the number will turn gold to show that I voted. However when I refresh the page, the number turns back to white and the total goes back down to 219, which pretty much means that my vote wasn't counted.

There's a lot of fake ones out there where you sign up and the only way you can get the free xbox or ipod is to sign up for some service that costs even more than the prize you're getting. Apparently the ad that my friends found on newground's though, only required that you take surveys and refer people.

A few of my friends said that they clicked an ad here on newgrounds last year that claimed to offer free ipods, xbox 360s, and Wii's. All they had to do was refer some people and take some surveys in order to gain enough points. I of course thought it was a scam until they got this stuff in the mail. Does anyone have the link to these ads?

Ok I searched over 30 topics for this and couldn't find. I know auras are really for decoration but in a general sense what does each stand for? Here's what I understand:

Light - tend to save flashes more often than someone who would be dark
Neutral - Votes fairly on every flash
Dark - tends to blam flashes more often than someone who would be light
Evil - ???
Fab - ???

What does Fab stand for and what's the difference between dark and evil?

Did Krinkels make a flash for madness day? Seeing as the entire day is devoted towards his character... did he make something?

I remember on the old system when you reviewed a flash you could go back and read it. Sometimes the authors would leave comments and you could check what they said etc. Now on this new system I don't see a place to do that anymore. In my profile under "flash portal options" I see two options
"View your Flash Portal reviews" and "Reviews with responses only" but they are grayed out and I can't click on them? What's the problem?

Besides the flashy pics, the new update should be considered a down grade from the old version. Here's a list of problems that I found just after a quick 5 minute glance.

- There is no way to check your blam/protect total
- All text and images have been enlarged making it more difficult to navigate and requires more scrolling
- The new flashes that are now highlighted in purple do not "dim" in color to indicate that you've already viewed them
- There is still no option to search for users or even browse beyond the top 50 users in each category of rankings

Sure there's more but like I said that's only after a 5 minute glance. Post any other problems you find here. It'd be helpful if a mod could make this a sticky so these problems can be addressed.

Yesterday, April 23 was "Star Day". A day where a group (comprised mainly of 12 year olds) known as "Star Syndicate" submitted tons of crappy two second flashes then mass voted to help them pass. I must say I'm disappointed in a lot of you:

- Out of the 81 SS flashes submitted, only 7 were blammed.
- 8.6% were blammed, 91.4% were protected
- Scores after 200 votes were not borderline, but in the low to mid 2 range

A lot of you are greedy motherf*ckers who just want blam/protect points. I ask that next time there is a mass submission of crap, give it the score it deserves.

As we speak the portal is being bombarded with crappy flashes made by Star Syndicate. Today is apparently "star day" meaning that SS in submitting hundreds of two-second flashes that are complete trash. This epidemy began last night at 12 AM and seventeen hours later not a single SS flash had been blammed.

Are there any groups out there bent on destroying KK, LL, UU, etc. by blamming them before their crap can make it into the portal? I'd happily join
