I would also be interested in sources for extra levels, the gaps are huge and lots of people complain over an icon. I would be surprised if something actually happened, even a situation like an addition of one level that requires 50,000 exp with an MS Paint made icon with the words "Happy Now?" seems unlikely. But that is completely insignificant compared to my alt account's achievement of 1,000 points, which is a tenfold better than gfoxclock.

Basically movies that break rules and abusive reviews that you whistle give you points. It's easy to get bronze, not much harder to get sliver and a very large amount of time to get Gold.
