A small thing I noticed. The "Edit Movie Icon" section is missing. I can't edit the icons to my movies, because the option isn't even there.

Every time I make an Icon for my flash movies it's all grainy and crappy. Then I look at some of the icons on the front page and they're all smooth and good looking. How do they do it?

Ah-ha! Wow, I feel foolish. The problem was that I was setting the sound on stream instead of on event.... -.-;

Hmm... Yeah, that's what I did. Is there some sorta limit on the length of the sound? I've tried playing some different sounds that are shorter too but they still don't work. Could it have to do with the amplitude of the sounds waves? I just don't know what's wrong...

I'm trying to get a sound to play when I roll-over my buttons. In my video I can only get one sound to play when I scroll over the button, but when I try to have it play a different one it wont.... Both of the sounds are Wavs. To get the sound to play when I roll-over it I made another layer inside the button and then placed the sound on the frame "Over".

Meh, they're okay... At first my firewall was screwing it up but I finally got it to work. I've never had actual Wi-fi so I dunno how it compares.

Ooh, that worked! Can flipping also affect if a line snaps or not as well? Because sometimes that happens to me inside of symbols too.

Like, when I use the paint brush and try to draw a straight line, for example, it doesn't work. But if I draw a circle it works. It's hard to explain.... If the ends of the line meet then I get a fill. Otherwise I get nothing. And it's set to paint normal.

For some reason, when I use the paintbrush in a certain symbol nothing shows up. If I make a circle it fills in the middle of what I drew and gets rid of my lines. Why does this happen?! And more importantly, how do I fix it?

I just thought it'd be simpler to do them in different scenes cuz my backgrounds are really elaborate and on several layers. It might get a bit confusing to see which thing is one what layer.

In this video I submitted, the movie plays really slow. That causes the music to stop playing too early. It doesn't do this when I play it in Flash. Is there any way to fix this? I dunno if it slows down on everyones computer but it did on mine and also on my friends.

Okay, I'm still having problems...
on (release){
gotoAndPlay("Breaking",1)

The name of the scene I want to play is called Breaking. When I click on the button it just replays the current scene.

I added a sound effect at the beginning and end of the two scenes in question but it's still playing too early. Also, another SFX related question. How do you change the quality of the sounds you use? The only way I know of is to change it from stream to event. I've tried changing the "Export Settings" but I hear no difference when I play the movie.

In the properties tab on the bottom see what the song is set to. There should be four choices: Stream, start, stop and event. If you set it to stream it should work (I think) but you may lose some sound quality and I'm no expert on how that stuff works...

Try adding a blank frame wherever you want the music to stop.

It's off by at least a second maybe even two. I'm running at 30 fps so I dunno if it's a good idea to increase the fps any more... So I checked the sounds and they were set to event. I changed it to stream and it seems like that cut down the lag behind a bit, but it's still about .5-1 second behind... One other thing (Hate to keep piling on the questions) but in several of my videos I get this little pop-up that says "SWF contains multiple copies of a sound item" because I end up re-using the same sound more than a few times. Is there any way to tell it not to say that? Or to keep that message from coming up (It's in the Output window.)

Well... Both of the problems happened on my mac and so I moved them to my PC. The video with the buttons I somehow fixed (Dunno how). But the video involving scenes I couldn't fix. Basically, when the movie went to scene 4 the SFX would play right away instead of when I had them set to play. If I play only scene 4 the SFX are fine so something is happening between scenes 3 and 4.
