Hip Hop is awesome, but I am hating all the 1 minute long instrumentals. Hip Hop shouldn't be like that. Overall, I hate the Hip Hop Modern section. I also hate 90% of it's submitters that say "don't hate". They are either under the age of 12 or they scum.

I played piano as a kid. Then I played guitar. I stopped playing both of those instruments through my love of electronic music. I want a keyboard, but as money goes, FL Studio is good enough.

The band Röyksopp uses a certain lead instrument that would fit a genre of music I am aiming for. I am not great at making instruments by ear, so some advice would be nice. Just any ideas on waveforms or anything else would be nice.

This isn't true. There's still good music posted, but you have to actually look to find it. For example, I found Tome89's last 2 songs to be very impressive.

Exhumer, play with FL for a while. Buttons and knobs will become your friends. Also, FL Studio doesn't have nearly as much as other programs, so it's not all that bad.
