Well there's a place in the cities where I can get professionally trained using Apple Logic. It would be nice to know your Music Production software inside and out right?

Topic: Get Certified With Apple Logic Pro?

Posted: 01/28/08 10:20 PM

I'm 17 and I've been accepted to my college of choice (University of Minnesota), and I plan on getting a masters in music composition/electronic music. Now, I also want to take classes at IPR where I can get certified in using Apple Logic Pro. Should I get my masters at the U of M first then get certified with Apple Logic Pro, or should I get certified then take my college courses? Or is it possible to do both? Anyone in college here got some pointers?

It'd be really tight getting certified in a program like Logic Pro, cuz all I know is what I found out pushing buttons in FL. Anyways, thanks in advance =)

You can't make someone like you. Don't try to be someone you're not either, just keep doing whatever you do, and accept whatever happens.

Who cares about the score? Is that the only reason why you make music? Please tell me that this isn't your inspiration for making music.

Nevermind, I can make it work in FL Studio, so as long as I can record I can edit the wav in sonar, then bring it back to FL etc...

I'm trying to record some lyrics onto sonar, but I can't get it to recognize my mic. I realize there could be a lot of factors here, so what are some things I should check/do?

Not really. Have you ever been to a high school track meet? The top runners would get that or better.

Yeah, to get to state for the mile you need to run about a 4:30 in Minnesota.

'98 Buick Le Sabre Custom (limited edition) Bought it used with 100,000 miles for $6,000. It gets like 30 mpg usually. I have to change the oil, but it's really cold outside =( I run because I feel like it =D
ha. you got ripped off if you paid 6 grand for a mediocre car like that with 100,000 miles on it.

Actually, when I'm done with it, I can sell it for about $5000, ultimately saving money. Besides it's not mediocre; it's actually considered a "luxury" car.

I did it like 10 million times really made me mad especially if you busted your ass for 2 hours for something totally awesome then it just rejects your hard work just like that.

Bust your ass for 2 hours? On a computer? That's what you get from a life totally devoid of manual labor...

Many people say they don't like running, either because they find it uncomfortable or w/e. The thing is, running isn't going to be comfortable. Now if you have a history of being inactive, it's going to be painful at first, but like all things, it gets easier with time. It takes about a month of running on a regular basis for one to be able to be able to think, "Oh, it's nice out, I think I'll go for a run." If you want to become a better runner though, it's going to take a bit of pain. However, I think running is more enjoyable with the hard workouts because that makes the easy runs all that much more enjoyable, and it makes it less repetitive (doing the same workout every day) It's kinda like the easy runs are "rewards" =)

Sorry for the wall of text.

For a mile? If you're not talking about competitive running it's okay, otherwise you'd get last at almost any highschool track meet >.<
