I need a little technical help. I finally got around to try and update my pictures. I got my primary picture uploaded just fine. However, when I tried to upload a personal icon, I keep getting the following error message:

"Error - GIFs with transparent backgrounds are not allowed here."

So, I look at my image. It's white, but I didn't know it was transparent. So, I tried using the fill tool (by the way, I'm using GIMP 2.213, of which I have little grasp of...), but I still get the same bounceback. I tried filling it with an actual color; still not accepted. The actual "image" in the image has white, so I used the fill tool on that, too; still says transparent.

If someone could tell me what I should do so that my image gets accepted, it would be greatly appreciated.
