We are getting situated at the new office! We won't have an internet connection until the end of next week at the earliest, so I still have to work from home until then. It's so freaky being at the office, knowing it is the future home of Newgrounds. It's all so REAL now. It's been years since I first decided NG needed an office and this place was worth the wait! I'll finally post pictures soon!

I wish I had kept a journal of this entire process, I might try to put something together and post-date everything. It's been a heck of a process to get an office building. It's tough because I have a lot of borderline "personal" stuff I feel like posting, but a lot of it seems too trivial for the front page (I should be focused on the Flash, after all), meanwhile, posting on the BBS seems out of place as well. Gotta get that personal blog!!!

I have not read anyone elses response to this post but I have a couple of points.

1) The way I understand it, you are planning on placing the main office on the 2nd floor and I hear through the rumor mill that you want to put an art gallery on the 1st floor. COME ON!!!! an art gallery????? Please, save that for the Ben Franklin Parkway, you need to open up a bar man. Or a taco bell, either way you win!

Has anyone out there who is not a Boston Red Sox Fan, or from the New England area seen Fever Pitch? I'm curious as to what you thought of the movie. I enjoyed the movie a lot, but I feel biased since I am a Sox fan, and I grew up 30 min south of Fenway Park.

While I feel that there are so many different styles of guitar playing, from classical, to jazz, to blues, etc... and each great guitarist has his/her own personal touch that makes them unique. One guitarist that I am particular partial to, who I think is an excellent guitarist is Stevie Ray Vaughan. But I love the Blues style of guitar playing.

I could list others....but I will leave it at that since he tops my personal list.

To me all this energy drink stuff has the same effect, gets you wired. If I had to choose though, I would go with "Rock Star Energy Drink" comes in a 16 oz can, and with a tagline of "Party like a Rock Star" on the can, it becomes quite the conversation piece.

Tonight is game one of the ALCS, Red Sox vs. Yankees, Schilling vs. Mussina. Up here in Boston there is quite a buzz around the city. There seems to be a more positive spin about the Red Sox this year, than years in the past. According to one Red Sox player the Sox are a team that is 5 outs better than last years team. I, however, have been burned by the Red Sox a multitude of times in the past, with one of the first memorable experiences being the 1986 world series against the Mets. Because of this, I find it hard to let my guard down and feel confident that they will win. I am curious as to what other people out there, who are interested baseball, think about the ALCS this year and what the outcome may be. Who do you think will win the ALCS? Or the world series if you feel so bold?

Hehe. Actually, I'd appreciate it if you would keep an eye out for where they're touring next. There's nothing listed on ticket websites here, so I'm guessing they're not going to be heading out this way, but there's always the chance that the sites I've been looking at are out-dated.

As of right now I only know of their "Vote for a change tour" Tim Robbin's little side project band "Gob Roberts" is opening up for them, but I will let you know if I come across some UK tour dates....
