You have to find yourself a local saloon, go in and ask if they need another DJ, get yourself some friends to recommend your skills, of course the image thing like Syntrus said, and MOST IMPORTANTLY YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR NAME KNOWN. Make some flyers and hand them out to people, hang them on streetposts, whatever you need to do to get people's attention.
