Geez, I know exactly what that's like. I bought Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story through Play-Asia so I could get it within a decent amount of time, rather than months later.

Probably won't do that with HG/SS though, since the wifi events and such will probably be tied to what region of the game you have.

I'm just hoping that rocket-jumping will be as easy and useful as it is with the normal rocket launcher.

Very happy with new Rocket Launcher. That will probably distinguish who the decent soldiers are compared to the ones that kill you with nothing but splash damage since they can't aim for shit.

Well, I was thinking, it's almost as if they're creating a 10th class with this setup - a brawler of a sort. Since looking at these new items, the Demoman is going to be charging into the fray a lot more. Which I definitely approve of, since I'm not much of a camper, and I'm pretty impatient when playing.

Will be interesting to see Demos charging around everywhere with the Sword and shield, especially if it's faster than a Scout's running speed.

Also, can I join this crew?

Yeah, of course.

What's better than a Bottle o' Scrumpy and a Sticky Bomb Launcher? A Haunted Sword and Shield you say?

The Eyelander sure sounds interesting to say the least. Looks like you'll have a lower max health to start with, but with each hit you'll get a small speed boost and a higher max health. I'm also going to go ahead and assume you'll have a slower swing speed as well, since the Sword is apparently so large, and also no critical-hits unless the "Chargin' Targe" is equipped. Also, decapitations on death blows are a nice addition - expect to see heads rolling all over the place once the update is out.

The Chargin' Targe looks like it's going to change up the playstyle of the Demoman completely though. He'll be much more durable, with less fire damage and blast damage as a result, as well as a charge-up attack that's comboed with the melee weapon by the looks of it.

Either way, it seems like the Demoman's close-range issues are being somewhat solved.

I highly doubt I'll get anything, but you've got to be in it to win it!

Anyway, item crafting is finally here. Which is nice, since I might be able to manage to finally make a hat. Of course, everyone else will probably be able to do the same, so the importance of having one will be reduced somewhat.

The whole blueprint business sounds interesting though - I'll be interested to find out more, and exactly how the system works. Also wouldn't mind getting rid of some of the 15 or so Sandmans I have lying around.

Also, that POOR MONKEY.

Yeah, it's gonna be a painful time for pretty much every class that isn't Solly or Demo. Though Spies should have a good time, since Solly and Demo are pretty easy backstab targets.

On more TF2 related stuff, this update should be pretty awesome. I'm probably rooting for the soldier, since I'm not a huge fan of the demoman, though I can play him well enough should I need to. Might jump on later at some stage and contribute to the kill total at some point.

Can't wait to see what the new weapons will be like though.

This looks like a hint that a double Soldier/Demo update is in the works... fingers crossed it's out around Christmas, which would be a very Valve thing to do: celebrate the holiday by giving us an update.

Of course, another very Valve thing to do would be to turn around and give us an Engie update instead :/

Well, the reason they made it a cartoony game, is because they don't need to provide explanations to logical fallacies such as how a lone engineer can have the knowledge to make a fully functioning sentry gun that automatically assembles itself in a matter of seconds, or how a Spy has a watch (or a number of watches) that can provide temporary invisibility.

Did you ever question how Wile E. Coyote managed to get all those high-yield explosives out in the desert? Of course not, since it's a cartoon, and the same sort of assumptions and turning of blind eyes applies here.

Sorry if sounds really complicated and thanks in advance.

I made the Tauri symbols a more metallic gold, since that's more in keeping with the whole theme of the show, and I thought it looks more impressive, but other than that everything is pretty much how you asked.

Also, funnily enough I just finished watching the very last episode of season 10 of SG-1 last night ^_^

And yeah, the ratings are so inconsistent it's stupid. No wonder our ratings system is the laughing stock of the world.
