idk what u use for ur music making intrinsik, but you seem to be a good artist. If i were u id try to get good with a program like Fruityloops (my fav) or Reason.

idk what erkie is doing but things are looking like the results may not be posted untill tomorrow.... (maybe he needs a representitive (even tho i kinda am being one right now) to do the things if he cant.) but right now some of the judges havnt even gotten their submissions to judge yet, and erkie has all the submissions, so untill he gets back from whatever hes doing, we will have to wait.
i would say probably around 12:00 to 3:00 tomorrow depending on when the judges review, and when erkie gets everything.

it sounds REALLY complex and pretty good, its one of my biggest.
unfortunately i can barely hear the damn thing in FL cuz its so big (jus the intro uses 10 patterns)

newgrounds started a flash only site and they spend any spare time on it, not the AP. it will probably be a long time before they make it better, but to the leaders of newgrounds.
if you made the audio portal as cool as the flash portal, maybe there would be less noobs on the AP and more decent people....? and I think youd like that?
i actually know a few people who are going to make music for a LIVING that are submitting stuff to newgrounds AP. but whatever....
Im not a noob or anything but I just dont understand why all of the sudden i have been having problems with my fruityloops, i really dont want to do a system restore or anything durastic jus to fix it either.
but for some reason every time one of my songs starts getting complex or big (alot of patterns and\or Plugins on the FX menu) it starts getting glitchy, when i say that i mean really bad, like it skips back and forth.
and NO its not the buffering, i already fucked with that for like 20 mins trying to see if it would help but no. and its not even when listening to a complex pattern, if the rest of the song is complex, if i fuckin make a new pattern with 1 fukin block it will start skipping and glitching after about the 2nd time it repeats.
ive tried almost anything but nothing seems to help, making it WAY harder to make music.
this is a recent problem and idk what the problem is. if its my hardware im screwed cuz i wont be getting anything new for a while, but i dont think it is.

the reason why i say bass boost + vocoder is cuz when the bass goes over the clipping point it makes an off tune noise that sounds awesome with a dnb or something (like my remix of my song underworld) but compress it so it DOESNT clip, but still has the noise, then jus lower the volume so it don overpower the other synths.
try just dragging the midi onto the channel list.
and btw midi's suck

jus a tip for the competition, when the judges are judging you shouldnt tell them whose song is whose, you should just tell them to judge the best one. (that way there is no discrimination)

i never get bad reviews, for sum reason if they don like it they say "it was good, but jus not my thing"
and im ALWAYS nice to beginners, because everyone starts somewhere.
and if one of them magically gets song of the week when they have about 3 songs i get pissed, but i don even review jus in case im wrong about HOW they got that *Cough* like the song of the week this week *cough*

also if u want to trick out your bass try using vocoder on it (im pretty sure not many ppl know about that)
but it will make the bass WAY stronger, bass boost+vocoder = pwnage. but make sure u put a compressor on it with about -2.3 gain.
