poetic raven uses FL, you said as for FL, you meant as for electronica.

btw i got banned off the audio portal on a diff name cuz i remixed a song in the cool stuff folder an didnt change it that much.

why i was really banned was prolly cuz i argued with the mod about it, and started cursing at him... lol

but my actual sign up date was sometime in the year 2004, alot of my old songs (not the one i got banned for lol) from my old account are in this one, like underworld and the striker.

so many songs, so little time... Posted June 8th, 2005 in Audio

ok man i found this in a review of SOMONE ELSES SONG.

No offense to Pandora_Tranquil, but he has released 81 songs in 3 months, and once you keep doing that in every 3 months, you will enetually lose ideas and start to slow dow nand fade.

jus to let anyone who cares know, i resubmitted about 1/2 of my songs so thats about 40 songs.

not 80 lol.

plus unlike what people think, i do not put out a song a day,
i let them build up on accident when im working on more than one and then i submit in short periods of time.

oh and theres no way in hell im going to run out of ideas, i make my music out of nothing without an idea, then i get ideas in-between.

i reuse ideas some, but not so much that it becomes repetitive in my music, if you notice, in the time ive been on newgrounds ive changed my style from hybridist trance\classical\industrial to straight trance, KEEPING my hybridist style, using synths noone else uses, but still keeping it borderline mainstream.

i actually havnt submitted to newgrounds in about 2 weeks.

but i did put a new song out today, its called wilted dreams, and no its not the finished version of the old one, i went off on a totally different track and made the song.

thanks for taking the time to read if you did.

nobody has yet to name somone other than themselves......

poetic reven is very good at rap\hiphop, he does it all in fruity, and he puts his vocals in it too.

u don have to review if u don want, i appreciate when u do tho, im still submitting to newgrounds so the few fans i have will still have sum of my stuff to listen to.

some question, idiot

Why use fruitloops when you can use real music software to origional results instead
of limited sampling and beatbox meathods that produces pretty much the same style
of music all the time.

why dont you stop using samples and use synths like a REAL music producer.
and if you knew anything about fruityloops youd know it has more than enough capabilitys to handle almost every genre of music. i could name somone who is good at their catagory of music for every catagory that uses fruityloops.

Did ParagonX9, probably the most acclaimed music artist on the AP use fruityloops?
No he did not. He used Reason 2.5. I use Reason 3.0, both of which are software which requires : :reasonable ammounts of musical knowledge to even get started in the first place.

who the fuck cares about paragon, why dont you take a look at B0UNC3. he uses fruityloops.

Ok I appreciate its easy to use, and i'll even appreciate that not everyone is comfortable with Reasons hefty £600 price tag, bu t as far as I see it, any program where you dont actually have to be able to play an instrument isnt a decent piece of music software.

You dont have to be able to play an instrument to use reason u moron.

Fruityloops is to audio what Swish is to flash. Cheap.

who the fuck cares how much it costs, its still as good if not better than the other programs.

but all my songs are in a pattern format and then when I try to make it a song nothing ever play's how do I turn the pattern into a song.

And is there a big difference between them??

u make a pattern, then you open the playlist, and u click next to the pattern u jus did.

that puts it on a playlist so you can have multiple patterns play at once and at different times.

click song next to the play button to play or hear the song, click pat to play or hear the pattern.

this goes with saving the song as .mp3 as well.

i hate ebay because its been hacked once already and noone knows about it barely.

the only reason alot of credit cards (and credit card companys) havnt been fucked up is because the (72 year old man) that did it didnt download their database (with the files) because it was a huge realtime file.

vote on everyones songs Posted June 7th, 2005 in Audio

You may think it has no effect, or that artist doesnt need the vote, but chances are 2 seconds after you think that a dude will vote zero without listening to the song lol.

so jus vote on every song you come across, and if you like it, jus vote 5.

in the AP 4's and 3's are pointless, if you like it at all you should vote 5 to make up for people voting zero for no reason.

Response to: FruityLoops 5 Posted June 7th, 2005 in Audio

for one, having it automatically place everything limits the music GREATLY.

and for another, fruityloops 5 does it too, all u have to do is turn it on.....

well i never have to worry about feeling stupid at newgrounds!

my bad i didnt pay attention to what u said, don worry about the .flp file

check the volume like i said, and also (if sound works on OTHER things)
check that it is set to ur correct soundcard (it pops up on startup)

if you dont know what soundcard you have, jus try all of the ones that show up.

Response to: Need fruityloops help? ill help Posted June 7th, 2005 in Audio

see the thing when u click reply that says attachment :

put the .flp there.

you probably have a volume problem, press F9 and raise the master volume (if its lowered)

and if u automated some volume bars anywhere (like a fade-out) sometimes fruity will give you problems.

Response to: FruityLoops 5 Posted June 7th, 2005 in Audio

well you shouldhave started with fruity 5 since its been out since when you got 4 (judging by ur music)

the only change anyone i know cared about was the fact that it doesnt (as a default) center ur lil blocks on the piano roll and playlist automatically (which is a VERY GOOD THING, cuz that really held you back in the earlier versions)

plus the sytrus is a very powerful VST that comes with it, and it comes with 2 other VST's that are good (and not included in 4)

why dont you just download the demo and find for yourself?

well actually u don save the template (unless u didnt know what its called)

but go to the left of the play button where it says Pat, and Song, select song to save the whole song, select pat to save jus the pattern you have open.

then go to export file\mp3

then you can save the file as mp3.

if the filesize is too big, theres a little slider that says bitrate, never take it below 160 unless you are just over the size limit.

Hello anyone who is new to fruityloops or is just looking to learn more.

im no music "expert" but im willing to help u with all i know.

So if you need resources, .flp files to learn from, or little ideas to help u get started,

my A.I.M is SiSiMeN313
my M.S.N is Demonslayer326@hotmail.com (also my email)

so if u need help, i got u covered.

Response to: byebye newgrounds audio portal Posted June 3rd, 2005 in Audio

jon i never said my music sounds good, i kid around about it all the time but i have a small ass ego.

if u mean Pandora.....Tranquility at its finest, as me saying it sounds good, sure i think it sounds good, but unless im kidding i would never go around and say hah my music pwns ur music.

i make my music for me, but not only that i make it for others, i LOVE feedback, and i NEVER get bad reviews barely.

im trying to move forward always, i always try to out-do myself and keep getting better (thank god i met B0UNC3, did anyone notice the difference in my music after i met him?)

im not going to switch programs, im going to keep using fruityloops.

also im actually looking for a music label in NC (still havnt looked through the yellow pages yet) but im gonna give them a demo if there is one nearby an see what happens.

I suppose i will prolly add stuff to newgrounds every now and then, but (and i don mean this offencively or anything) there are so many newbs to the music "industry" on newgrounds, which is why the portal is never updated lol. (or at least one of the reasons)

and as much as i like helping other people, i learned almost nothing from anyone on newgrounds because i was "better" (again saying with no ego) than anyone that even thought of helping me.

i need more people like B0UNC3 to learn from, THATS what made me think about leaving newgrounds.

how can someone learn from people who learn more from you than you do them?

think about it..... lol

thanks for the comments jon, I think i will probably upload stuff, u know jus so ppl have some random song to listen to, but if im doing anything with newgrounds, its gonna be helping people out.

so i guess ill make a lil thread with my aim and msn (email) in it to help ppl an shit.

thx jon for what u said.
