I need to reply more often, so people would retain some memory of what I'm replying to instead of jabbering blindly at the air. In any case! Profiles. And the stomping on people's dreams. PROS: Your samples are now in the more manageable format of mp3s, and they're relatively free of background noise.
CONS: Mic puffs, breathing on the mic, the sound volume goes up and down like you were juggling your head back and forth from the mic, your acting and voice imitation abilities are questionable though I can imagine you in any number of "bunch of teens in a sitcom situation" type flashes.
VERDICT: Try again. Aim the mic away from your face a bit so you're not speaking directly into it, control the head jiggling (I reccomend getting a metal neck brace that clamps your shoulders and neck into an immobile block of concrete) and try to get a script to work with instead of adlibbing badly.
Joseph_Collins (130)
PROS: Nice array of voices and acting. Voice samples are all available in one easy to download zip. I like.
CONS: Quality goes up and down and left and right and sideways. Judging from your better quality clips though, you're quite capable of not breathing into the mic, mic popping and background noise. That just needs to be applied to all the samples instead of a few.
VERDICT: Once you've sorted out your quality issues with some of your samples (or recorded new ones), welcome aboard! Your profile will be added to the roster later. You might want to think about putting up all the roles you've played on the page you set up, since the roster doesn't actually do a listing of roles. That's what your resume is for.
Revenge_Is_Fun (131)
PROS: Once again, you have a wonderful sense for character acting which I admire greatly. Your samples are also now in the more mangeable form of mp3s.
CONS: You still have quality issues regarding mic puffs and breathing noises. Angle the mic slightly away from your face when recording, so that it picks up the sound of your voice without you directly breathing into it. You have very little, if any, background noise, but judging from the sound of your samples, you've applied just a little bit too much noise filter/reduction, resulting in some loss of sound clarity. Have a talk with HollywoodSound regarding cleaning up your samples, he is available at unitysound@gmail.com
VERDICT: Once you've sorted out your quality issues with some of your samples (or recorded new ones), welcome aboard! Your profile will be added to the roster later.
Daeleo (132)
PROS: A very nicely done array of ethnic voices and various stereotypes. Background noise is a minimum and the file format is mp3, which is always nice.
CONS: Several mic puffs and some breathing noises hurt your sample clip, but otherwise it's all good. Angle your mic away from your face to minimise breathing into it.
VERDICT: Once you've sorted out your quality issues with some of your samples (or recorded new ones), welcome aboard! Your profile will be added to the roster later.
Klepto_Bysmal (133)
PROS: Nice array of character voices with different reads and styles.
CONS: Some reads came off a little flat, but it's more than made up for by the wide variety. A little bit of volume distortion when your voice got loud. Nothing particularly major.
VERDICT: Welcome aboard! Your profile will be added to the roster later.
And now, because this megapost profile review could not possibly end without one:
Tystarr (135)
PROS: Nothing
CONS: Everything
VERDICT: If you want to join the club, check out the How to Join? section of the Newgrounds' Voice Acting Club Roster. It'll provide the details for how to join, as well as help on how to fill the requirements. PLEASE DO NOT POST A PROFILE WITHOUT A SAMPLER UPLOADED SOMEWHERE FOR DOWNLOAD. DO NOT SAY "I'LL MAKE ONE LATER" OR "I'll GET A MICROPHONE IN THREE MONTHS" OR "EMAIL ME FOR SAMPLES PLZ, K?". GET A SAMPLER, HAVE IT UPLOADED AND LINK IT BEFORE POSTING YOUR PROFILE. THIS IS NOT A NEGOTIABLE POINT. THIS MESSAGE IS IN ALL-CAPS AND BOLDED FOR A REASON. SORRY IF IT SEEMS REPETITIVE, I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THIS POINT WAS CONVEYED PROPERLY. Finally, this is a VOICE ACTING club. It is not a I CAN DO ALL THESE VOICES THAT I DON'T HAVE TO PROVE I CAN DO BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A MIC club. Don't try and join if you don't have a working microphone. That's just plain stupid.
Looks like I missed out on some NGVAC chatting fun over the weekend, not to mention other events of varying importance. VAC Idol? What? Whatssits, what? O.o Anyway, I was busy entertaining (and being entertained with) an old childhood friend who I haven't seen in a while, so NGVAC had to take a second place to that. Plus, she was really hot and hanging out with hot women is something I can never pass up (even if our relationship is entirely platonic. curses). So.... Sorry about that, chief! Especially for all the new profile submissions (or re-submissions) that have occured over the week. That's a lot of roster applications I'm going to have to go through. Oy Vey.
There was a bit of talk about the unreliability and mental instability of people who fish for compliments about their voice acting. I have to admit, I'm one of those people. I like compliments, and I can't help but fish for them. When you're in the acting industry, everything is based on presentation and the audience's response to you. It doesn't matter if you think if you're the best actor in the whole wide world, if the audience doesn't agree with you then you might as well be a realist in a post-modernist world. Which is why I must have continued compliments and ressurances that I do not, in fact, suck complete ass. Which isn't to say that I completely believe them in any rate because they would miss some of the nuances of acting, and I haven't been properly trained to produce those nuances in acting, in any case.
Any kind of acheivement I receive on Newgrounds or other internet-based productions is always tempered by the knowledge that this is all the realm of amateurs, and not nearly the level of professional products. There's also the fact that everything I've learned about acting is more or less self-taught and the listening to other people's styles and methodology. I didn't join the drama club in high school, I was always some nameless, non-speaking extra in the school play (if I ever got chosen in the first place), I have no interest in "serious" stage plays or in theatrical acting, I don't sing so much as "belt" in tune, I haven't been taught how to breath properly for soliloquoys, I don't even know the difference between method acting and.... well, whatever-else-there-is acting! All I have is the assurance of other people that I don't really suck as much as I think I do. And until I get into the business professionally and win an or two Oscar and other notable awards and get heaps load of cashola for every feature I'm in, the audience is all I have to work with as a measuring stick to my talent and success.
Mind you, I have the feeling even if the audience completely hated me, I'd still try, try and try again. I'd probably operate under the thought-process that "I'll make them love me even if it kills me!". Plus, I'm a sucker for attention, even if it's negative. XD
ANYWAY! Pondering of neurosis aside: Mucho congrats to the people in the Spaced Out! Pilot: Hobbes_The_Prince (Stan), Frogs (Captain Leader), Bezo (Robobob) and The_Zodiak (Police Robots) as well as grim_studios for debuting with this nicely done piece of animation. I likes it very much, although admittedly more for its stylings and its overall humourous tone rather than any actual instances of humour. The only part I found quite hillarious was when Robobob decides with complete aplomb, "Then I shall make it harder!". That got a genuine laugh out of me when I mostly wore an amused smirk for the rest of the episode. Still, excellent start to a new series, and definitely looking forward to more. I have a feeling Robobob is going to be regarded as TEH BSET CAHARCETR!!11!1! in future episodes. A fanbase is brewing. Mordor's forces are gathering.
Hrm, next section is gonna be a biggee. Looks like it's double/triple post time!

What program do you use to record? I used to have that problem, too, but I figured out how to fix it. Make sure your recording format is set to 44.100 kHz, 16 bit stereo. If you use the regular Windows sound recorder to record your voice, you can change this formatting by going to File->Properties
Errrrrr... No. Seriously, no. That helps a bit, but it doesn't eliminate the noise completely, nor does it allow you to save in a format that's less huge than wav. Listen to Elliair and grab yourself a proper recording proggie. It'll help a lot. Seriously.

Labtec USB mics are quite nice, or so I've heard. Depending upon your soundcard, you might want to risk a tradition audio jack mic.... But still, USB mics are probably the best way to go. And some good recording software to help clean up your lines after would be spiffin'.
Oops, miscalculated number of posts. ANYWAY!

And now, here are the comments for people who submitted their profiles to be added to the roster (I've also emailed them too, just as a convenience. Well, except for the people I know who post here often and would read this). I think I might be more mean here than I usually am.
meneldil: Your new sampler has been noted and added to your profile (which will be added to the roster later). That was quite amusing. :-) Your accent kind of carries through in all your voices, so they're slightly "off" (especially the narration voice) but getting rid of accents is always the hardest part of voicing material. I should know this, of all people. O.o
Jerma: Your new sampler has been noted and added to your profile. Good way of showing off your variety of voices and at a variety of reading speeds! Very nice. Yeah! Bender's back! XD
Midget_Launcher: Sorry man, can't reach your samplers through the link you put up. It just takes me to the Lycos log-in page. Try again.
Revenge_Is_Fun: Wow. I really love your voice and your masterful elocution. You definitely have a wonderful talent for acting. Unfortunately, the technical aspects of your clip seem to have let you down. The sample is very soft, which is highlighted even more by the occasional mic puff and you have your samples in wav format. Download recording software like Audigy (which is free) and try and fix up some of those technical aspects (or at the very least, save in mp3). If you need any more help, please refer to the How to Join? section of the roster.
Anax: Sorry, but I'm really not interested in listening to an entire flash and try and work out which voices you've done. Please make a short, self-contained clip instead for the convenience of the listener. If you need any more help, please refer to the How to Join? section of the roster.
Speed_666: The NGVAC Roster is NOT a resume, it's simply a profile. A resume is a page you put up yourself with the list of roles on it. I will however, add those roles to the Special Notes section of your profile as soon as you give a link to the movie where you played those roles.
wesdood: Sorry, but I'm really not interested in downloading a huge wav file from an unstable free server. Download recording software like Audigy (which is free) and, at the very least, save in mp3. If you need any more help, please refer to the How to Join? section of the roster.

Well, it's been a while since I've posted. Phew. And now I have an entire backlog of people to reply to as well as process applications for the roster. Exciting. Urgh. Sorry if I seem a little bit more irritable than usual today, I'm just not keeping up with university work as well as I had hoped. That's what happens when I take a day off to join the NGVAC chat on Friday.... And then slacked some more after that. Oy vey. O.o Also, congratulations to The_Zodiak, Elliair and TESM on a job well done in Harvest Moon: The Accident. I bet that script must have been a hoot to read out. :-P
Isca: You and Elliair stop arousing me with your arousing lesbian horseplay antics! It's arousing. ;_; And.... I missed out on another chat? A bigger one than the one on Friday which I did manage to attend? Aw, man. Pfoo. :-( Stupid "avoiding work and responsibilities instead of doing actual work and being responsible" attitude of mine! And good job on reaching (or close to reaching) 100 Flash roles! That's like.... a lot. @_@
El_Shamro: It is good to hear that your character still walks amongst the living! Or walks amongst the unliving if he's some kind of undead monster in a special campaign style. Or runs amongst the living while on fire in one of those real special ones. Sometimes, I don't really know what I'm talking about no more. And I'll have to catch that Half-Life flash some time. When I get a new computer. Because for some reason that movie runs like ASS on this machine. I cry. ;_;
D-Mac_Double: Ha! Thanks for that "On Family" clip. Now I understand. Everything. @_@ I hear it in my dreams now you know. "On Family.... On Family.... On Family...." THE DREAMS HAUNT ME SO!
Elliair: Hey, the chat was good! I was there. That automatically makes EVERYTHING better. Until the midgets came. And then things became uncomfortable and sweaty. And Andy Dick showed up and did his schtick. Scary Andy Dick.
LazyKenny: Hey, we all make mistakes in doing big-assed productions which go no where because we aren't prepared to do the work involved. Don't worry about it, at least you admitted that it was getting no where fast and notified people. Unlike those who just keep hanging on and on and on and ON without ever getting anything done. Yeesh. For some reason I feel an incredible sense of irony about to descend upon me for saying that, as I'm supposed to be the group leader for a university project thing due in four weeks. FARK!
Bezo: The day will come when those crazy Otaku will rule the Earth. We must prepare for their coming. With knives and implements of destruction. @_@ Oh god, I remember back in the days when the subs vs. dubs debate raged like hot lava across the land, enflaming and burning all it touched! Those were stupid times. Aren't we glad those days are over? OR ARE THEY???? @_@ Man, this could be a Twilight Zone episode.
MC_Huggies: I'm pretty sure I've said this many times before, but good luck with the animation! Sounds like you're hard at work at the schtick. Onya mate. O.o
cattails234: I sense much anger in you, young one.
Elliair: Thanks for looking after all the applications to the NGVAC, you're a real lifesaver. I really should log unto NG BBS more often. -_-;;;
The_Zodiak: HA! That singing clip was funnee. Very reminescent of William Shatner's short-lived career. I can imagine the kareoke bar clearing out as soon as Vegeta takes the mic. O.o
Frogs: Welcome back! And shabu-shabu, twice? Man, getting steamboat is a rarity for me in a single year, and you did it twice in a single week? Unfair man! @_@
HollywoodSound: You mind being one of the consultants that people can contact through the roster? That way you don't have to keep posting and people who need help with cleaning up lines have a permanent, current link to contact you.
Wow, this was pretty short for not replying to this thread in so long. I guess I'm just tired.

You know, I don't know why I bother to type up these critiques on new people posting profiles and their sampler. I mean, some of them are serious, but most of them post their profile once and then never surface on the thread ever again. It's rather noisome, all that wasted effort.
That said, I'm just going to go ahead and do this anyway. Because I have a pedantic sort of personality.

Angal_the_Chupacabra: Your first sampler (which Elliair reviewed, thanks for pitching in Elliair!) went belly up, so I'm going to do this review based upon your next two samplers. For angal_demo2.mp3: Nice variety of voices, though you've got a serious mic puff problem for the laughter/screaming sequence. Also, some voices felt a little flat, which I assume came from trying to hard to imitate a certain voice without necessarily harnessing the same energy or pizazz. For DDquoteattempts.mp3: I got a real sense of "whisper shouting", like you were afraid to get distortion from high volume so you weren't really SHOUTING shouting. This is really highlighted when TVs_Slayer comes in and gives it his all, which completely distorts the sound, but you can tell he's really going nuts at the line. Overall, nice samples! I'll be sure to add your profile later.
Sakura-shino: Ooooooooookay: first of all you have a really bad sound quality issue. I mean, HUMUNGOUSLY bad. You've got distortion everywhere when you speak up even a LITTLE bit, you sound like you recorded your lines while lying in a metal box, and you've got a lot of ambient background noise. Try submitting your profile again when you've cleaned up your samples or recorded new ones. If you're recording new ones, try to go for something with a bit more emotional content. I think doing narrational reading is one of the most difficult things you can do in terms of VAing (since the work has to come completely from you), but you need to mix it with something that sounds it could be heard in a dialogue sequence to balance things out.
fosterjrt: If you want to join the club, check out the How to Join? section of the Newgrounds' Voice Acting Club Roster. Megapost <3s j00. Ew, I'm channeling the spirit of Piconjo or something. Anyway, congrats to everyone involved in Halo for Retards! I think we all did a nice job in that one. Good job Hobbes_The_Prince on Master Chief and Frogs for doing all the soldiers. Nice work there!
Shalamaseskia: Ooooh! If you're planning on remaking the NGVAC song to the MGS2 theme I think doing multiple voices would be A-OK! That's too many acronyms in a single sentence, I think. Anyway, adding multiple voices to counterpoint each other would be cool to do, though I think difficult to time properly. So good luck with that!
TVs_Slayer: You trying to muscle in on mah megapost territory mang? I cut you! I CUT YOU, MANG! *cue Star Trek gladiator music here* And once again, your Radio Random sample proves that once again: I don't need a radio to enjoy radio. HUZZAH! Screw knob twiddling, I got both Radio Randoms, baby!
Frogs: Guten lucken with the touren. And yes, bring back bras. Even if you have to buy them and hire women to toss it at you. THE BRAS WILL BE YOUR RITE OF MUSICAL PASSAGE! And I really don't know who controls the editing of the posts or what not, but being able to edit the first post to include the "YOU DAMN WELL BETTER INCLUDE A SAMPLER THAT'S UP ON THE INTERWEB SOMEWHERE OR I'LL STRANGLE J00!" line would be great, yes. Saves a lot of trouble lecturing the stupid people. And nice in-depth review on Sakura-shino's samples. That's what I like to see!
MC_Huggies: All righty, I guess meneldil will go on the list. Hurrah and thanks for doing the backup review! And no, I wouldn't hurt you. Why, in order to hurt you, I'd have to know where you lived, your daily routines and activities, your closest family and friends, and the various different ways a man could suffer a violent and horrible death which would seem to be nothing but coincidentally "accidental". And I do not know these things. At all. @_@ *insert Psycho theme here* And I too look forward to seeing that flash completed. So therefore, I reccomend you do not look in the hallway closet until after you have finished that flash. You know. Just saying. And you're muskelling on mah megapost too? Why I oughta!
KagomeHigurashi: Somehow, I don't think you have to worry too much about being kicked off the roster. I judge mainly on cleanliness on the sample, if the sample is in mp3, if the person actually sounds like they're trying to act.... Or if there's a sampler at ALL. Really basic stuff. There's a bit of quality control in there, but nothing major. Besides, I'd have to go through all the samplers currently on the roster to start weeding people out and I don't QUITE have the will to do that sort of thing. And honestly, I agree with Isca here: You've proven you've gotten Kagome from Inu Yasha down pat. Time to mine new territory, girl!
Isca: And you don't have to worry about being kicked off the roster, either! And besides, we're desperately short of female members. If I wanted to start culling anywhere, I'd start with the male side of the roster. Like some of kind of castration. Yipe! And your new siggy is very arousing. The fact that it was the lovechild of you and Elliair makes it even more arousing. I should like to see the "creation process". eh? eh?
Elliair: Ahhhh! Thank you for putting those clips of the NGVAC chat up! I seem to have missed out on a lot in the first one and a half hours (I think?) I wasn't there. Rats. O.o Anyway, great work on recording them and hosting that chat in the first place. And continuing to post that first page post every time. You are indeed, very bomb-like. :-P And you reviewed Angal_the_Chupacabra's sample as well! Hurrah!
TripleArrow: Nice of you to do linkage to the NGVAC in the loading screen. It's fairly unintrusive and yet clearly stated. Good job!
pikpikcarrotmon: Noir fan here! Well, sort of. I'm doing a bit film history and it covers film noir to a degree. What films I have seen that are of that particular genre, I liked most heartily. I haven't seen many of the streotypical "private eye searching for the truth" ones, though.
Sorry if this bursts your bubble of soliciting free similes here, but the dialogue of Film Noir is usually a little bit more than just a couple of one-liners with ludricously elaborate descriptions of simple (what is meant to be) tasks and imagery. There needs to be an underlying rhythm that connects all the setences together. For example.... If the main character starts with the imagery of water, his next couple of thoughts would have to be on the same subject. Like below:
"Rain was falling down like all the oceans of the world had been swallowed up by the sky and then regurgitated unto the population below. People walked through the water like marine life fighting furiously against the turbulent waves of Neptunes wrath. Drains and potholes lurked under the surface to trap the unwary pedestrian, exisiting as coral reefs made of tarmac and concrete."
It's a little forced, but you get my meaning. That said, if you're looking for voice actors or gun sound effects ( as well as some foley work) I can help a bit. Check out my voice sampler in the link in my siggy.
Erm.... Email attachments usually work for most of us. If you're both using an IM service like AIM or MSN, you could try transferring files that way.

of course , in there defence, it was a odd request
What exactly was the request? Sorry, I have an extremely short term memory. If nobody replied to your request, maybe you should try emailing people directly for help. Things tend to get lost in the crush of postage.
Well excuse ME for having an actual voice sample up to reassure people they're not wasting their bloody time with a bunch of clueless amateurs. I just wanted to give the best impression possible with a bunch of clued-IN amateurs! And there IS a stop button on the page, donchaknow?
That said, if you ever find yourself in a bind, the Newgrounds' Voice Acting Club will always be there for your voice acting needs! Huzzah!
If you're looking for voice actors, there's the Newgrounds' Voice Acting Club. There's also a roster of all its members, if you want to try handpicking your VA people. Hope this helps!
But yeah, the guy before me is right. You should really be posting this request on the Flash forum.

All right, I've decided to make a seperate post to address the people who have tried to submit a profile in the last couple of pages. Most of you got the right idea, but need a little work with your samples. Or actually HAVE a sample. Which is a requirement and has been so since page 29. I mean.... We only post that a sampler is ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED at the top of every other page on this thread and it's only stated quite emphatically in the CAPITALISED BOLD, AND RED text in the Want to Join? section of the roster. What more can we do? Well I know what I'M going to do. I'm going to go away and cry tears of bitterness. Big HEAVING tears. Of bitterness. And then I'll critique the samples of people who've actually submitted one.
4Elements: Okay, you've got two nice voices there that I'm sure would work well in many comedy pieces. On the otherhand, you're suffering from a large amount of background noise (I can even tell you had the TV on for one of the recordings), your sound quality is iffy and you've saved in wav format, which is huge and unwieldy and not as nice and compact as an mp3. Try to record in a quiet an environment as you can possibly make it and grab yourself a recording program like Audacity to help clean up your samples and convert to mp3. More info can be found in the "Want to join?" section linked above.
-YO-: If you want to join the club, check out the Want to Join? section of the Newgrounds' Voice Acting Club Roster. That's just plain stupid.
barrab: Errrrr.... No. Try again. You know when you DOWNLOAD something from the internet it goes unto your harddrive? And how your sampler is currently on that harddrive? And how things on your harddrive aren't automatically accessible to other people around the world because it's not on the internet? Well, you're going to have to UPLOAD your voice sample unto the internet for people to be able to DOWNLOAD it. Check out the "Want to Join?" section of the roster for details.
meneldil: Well, your sample is pretty clean and I think your accent would be a fascinating addition to any flash looking for proper Eastern European accents. Admittedly, all I'm hearing at the moment is a single voice being pushed into doing other voices that aren't so different, but I'm sure that is something that will improve with practice. All I need now is somebody elses review to consider adding your profile to the roster. So somebody else review! His sampler is over here
Aralo: Nice acting, bad quality sample. Like my advice to 4Elements: grab yourself a recording program like Audacity to help clean up your samples and convert to mp3. You might also like to attempt more than one voice or go up and down in emotional intensity to show your range.

Okay, first I gotta say that the explosion in the number of posts after a chat is quite amazing. Which means we should have those chats less often, because it just means I have more posts to reply to afterwards. Not like that's going to stop the chats or anything, but I'm just saying. @_@
Anyway, that chat was fun to be in, glad to see a whole lot of people turned up for it. Congrats to Elliair for hosting the event and for everyone there for keeping it running as long as it did! That was very fun, indeed. Especially when we started talking about people who weren't there behind their backs. Oh yes, we did talk of them so! Yes, talking with feverent "behind-their-back"ness! Wouldn't YOU like to know what we said, haHA! SO in order to make sure we never have a chance to talk behind your back ever again, you'll just have to show up. No excuses.
Besides there was plenty of homosexual AKSHUN in dat room. From both sides of the equator. Yeah. You know you like dat HAWT GURL-ON-GURL/MAN-ON-MAN AKSHUN! And there was singing. A lot of it. Sometimes with original lyrics that perverted the song to whole new levels! And then there were the midgets covered in maple syrup. ON FRIGGIN' FAMILY, DAGNABIT!
And now, my commentary on the chat out of the way (hope to hear what clips there are from your recording, Elliair) let's move on to.... LE MEGAPOST NUMBER 36 (or thereabouts)!
Isca: Are you gonna put that thingie into your siggy. You know. The thingie that you were talking about putting in your sig after hearing it said out loud in the chat. You know whatahmtalkin'about. *wink wink*
Frogs: Sounds like you had a rockin' time in Las Vegas, woo! O.o And now you're off to see The Pillows too? You are a very busy travelling man, it would seem! And as you may have noticed.... POST EXPLOSION from the chat. Huge post explosion. You really missed out on something there. Something MAGICAL. Like a mournful song of regret of male bonding lost and found! Sung to a theme from Zelda64, remixed. Yeah. Awesome.
Elliair: Actually, according to my time zone the meeting was at 11:30AM on a Sunday, so that was just fine for me, to be honest. O.o A bit after the fact, but the next time you have a meeting, you can increase the time gap between my time zone and everybody elses by a further one and a half hours. Might make setting times easier or.... something. I'm sad to hear some of the recording got lost. That makes me sad. :-( Aw. But perhaps some things were better lost in the sands of time. Like when we started talking about who we really wanted to kill on the NGVAC and drew up a top ten list, along with methods of imhumation. Woo! That was crazy. Wow! Glad I'm not those guys, haHA! @_@ If that don't make you paranoid I don'ts know what will. Anyway, great work on capturing what you did anyway! That's some really awesome work there. Hope to hear it when it's uploaded, huzzah!
MC_Huggies: Yay! I am a great hobo! I'm not sure whether to be proud or partially disturbed by that statement. O.o *decision on whether or not to beat you senseless for calling me a hobo, pending* Wait, the hobo part is cursed? Does that mean I've inherited some kind of centuries-old curse which will like.... Kill me in seven days if I don't make a copy of the script and give it to somebody else to read who'll then be killed in their dreams by a madman wielding a chainsaw with a hockeymask?
El_Shamro: Well, you made it to the chat just fine so it appeared. How's your character? Still alive and kicking or rather deaded with no ressurection spells handy?
Masquerade_X: So is the Pretty Face manga still being translated then? Been trying to find new chapters but with little success.
KagomeHigurashi: Oh, the chat was the best thing ever. EVER. We got visited by a time-travelling gay, Jewish Hitler. It was THAT awesome. And that wouldn't be the flash that Gamedisk is working on, is it? Cause it has a similar style of opening with stick figures and such....
Shock_Dingo: You have surely missed one of the greatest events of all time. Surely, this NGVAC chat will go down in history as one of the momentous occasions that shook the world: Next to the birth of Christ, the invention of the steam locomotive, and the magical fusion of peanut butter and chocolate in Reeses' Peanut Butter Cups. It was THAT special.
vashtsakared: Your typing shook the entire chat. O.o Yes, instead of speaking to us through the mic, you let your fingers do it for you! It's almost like sign language. For blind people.
Bl00D_LINE: It's a little bit late at this point, but for future NGVAC meetings: Download Yahoo Instant Messenger and then add Ellair_Lel to your buddy list (or whoever is hosting the chatroom at the time). Watch out for the time and day the next meeting is on and then log on to Yahoo Instant Messenger (YIM) when it's time (be sure to know your timezone to turn up at the correct time!). IM Ellair_Lel (or whoever is hosting the meeting) with a message asking to be invited to the chat, and before you know it you're in. Voila.
TVs_Slayer: Hey man, I have a 56K modem too! We're like.... brothers! Only I didn't seem to experience as much lag as you did apparently. O.o And well, I don't really mind putting that NGVAC ad you made on the roster (and replacing the flash "animation" that's currently there) as long as it's under 1MB large. If it is larger than that though well.... I'll think of something. Just put it somewhere for me to download or email it to me ONLY as a last, LAST resort because I bloody hate having to download huge email attachements with a 56K modem.
Hobbes_The_Prince: Hey it was a legit question! O.o I just didn't know TESM was building up with an instrumental section first before going at the whole improv singing!
Shalamaseskia: You gotta do that song man. It might not be nearly as cool as when you first improv-ed it (because there's just something fun about hearing someone make up lyrics on the spot), but there's something to be said of being able to record and add effects in post. I'm thinking.... Reverb. Lots of reverb. And possibly distortion. And a whole lot of other filters. Just add to the "k3wl" factor of that song. O.o
