I obviously can't read all you said and think that you mean all U.S. people are like that, as the same way I can't think of all U.S people being like that (or any county, it doesn't matter).

But I think the answer is yes, most of the people I remember (people wich opinion really means something) have reasons like these for describing why they don't like the lifestyle of SOME or the most they can see from U.S. people.
See that I don't used the word "hate", because i think that's being much of an extremist.

As others said yes, eventually the site had to slow down. But a lot of people loves NG, it has a lot of life yet.

I don't know where will it be in five or more years but we have a lot of NG left :I

From where I am doing something like that IS bad, and i don't approve it either, but i think that having legal issues just by that is a bit exagerated. Maybe a little monetary compensation would be fair :U

Actually i think that the more the site gets known, the more it turns to the new Let's-be-like-facebook style.
Newgrounds always had an awesome style...that might be the thing dying here, but not the site itself-

I know that the old fashioned NG with a tiny comunity IS dead, but there's always a little bit of the original folklore of the site here. Or at least i guess.

One thing i really hated was when the site started to enabled the uploading of Speedpaints, but that wasn't a big deal really

I think the most important thing to start is having real passion for what you do, creating a world, telling a story,whatever

Then when you know you would do anything to tell that story, start learning, step by step.
I prefer, like the fella ↑ said, learning about phisics and, the most important thing to an animator/drawer, LOOKING. Practice looking! look everything (specially human body on animation films an reality) and watch his behaviour!

I think it's useless to add a cathegory to that, it would steal the ranking positions of animators and game makers.

We have the ART seccion. Also, if people want to upload speedpaints (which are useles in THIS site) they can upload them to youtube and post them in their profiles or in the forum!
