Take a break from the hustle and bustle of all this drama and go and vote on MJohnson's Diss Track Tourney so far!

RIGHT HERE, YO!

So far there are only me vs E.J and Shef Cook vs Matic, but keep checking back, something tells me this little tourney could get pretty funny.
(Also I made the SUPER BITCHIN' FLYER)

Vote fair, y'all!

I gotta say though, in a way it makes me laugh. Granted, from what I remember we're not supposed to have alts, but the reasons said 'homophobic language'.

I guess they're referring to when Nappy (not me, honest) said 'faggot rappers'.

I must have said 'faggot' a hundred times in this thread without being banned. Craziness.

Inb4 banned for saying 'faggot'.

I already Learned Iron Man except the solo is really hard.I'll try Stairway to heaven and let you know results in a few days. do you know any other songs with chords?

Well, one of the first songs I learned was Smells Like Teen Spirit, but honestly, I think that's too easy!

Maybe try a Foo Fighters song or something.
A friend of mine who also plays says that when he started out he just learned songs that he liked, regardless of how hard they were. Failure cannot live with persistence.

Response to: Need help with Guitar playing. Posted June 23rd, 2012 in Audio

As with everything it's just practice.
I remember when I was learning to do barre chords, and it MURDERS your hands at first, but you get used to it.

Start off learning something simple, like Iron Man by Sabbath or something like that.
Also, try to learn Stairway To Heaven. It's cliché as hell, but it's not too complex (at the beginning at least) and it really helps you with finger picking.
At the same time, I'd recommend learning scales. Start with a simple pentatonic, then as you get used to it work up to more complex stuff.

One thing I will say is try not to take short-cuts. Especially with your little finger. You need to learn the finger independence, and if it goes unused it becomes weak, then later on you'll regret it.
Look up 'chromatic guitar warm up' on google, too.

Basically it comes down to practice, practice, practice!
