Use simple oscillators - sine, square, triangle waves - and distort them. Nothing complicated, just some forced soft clipping so it doesn't sound clean.

British male, generally low.
I recorded the first chapter of a book which you can hear here. I would have done more but the writer of said book said he wanted to rewrite it, so I am waiting.
I'd like to do some stuff for some here, if anyone has any parts.

I abandoned the NG AP a while ago and since then I've been making music to requests on my own site at http://www.musicfortheblind.co.uk/music/
with extremely varying profitability.
I have been told, however, that there are often people here who are desperately wanting stuff for their animations, so I have come back.

Depends what you're trying to make and how you want to make it.
Will you be performing a lot, will you use real instruments, will you sing, etc.

Oh. Sorry. I'd read that thread and got the impression it was more of a HEY CHECK OUT WHAT I MADE than a I CAN MAKE THINGS thread.

I'm generally electronic-ish, but I own a few (terrible) instruments.
I have a portfolio of stuff, if you're interested.
I'm currently a poor, poor student, so money would be nice.
