ha! That's a pretty nifty idea :)

I need to put a Flash animation on a DVD for a University project and I was wondering if anyone knew any good (free) programs to convert .swf to good quality video files. I've tries some screen capture programs, but they lag out quite a bit as the stage size for my animation is quite big (960x540). Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Chapter IV: Hank enters a mysterious room

And so Hank sauntered into a small colourless room with nothing but blood thirsty assassins around him. He glances over to a door at the other end of the corridor which revealed 3 henchmen, all of which were proudly wielding AK-47's. For death to be avoided at this instance, only the quickest minded souls could survive. Hank jumped into the air and squeezed the trigger of his oh so precious 47. Magnum. The bullet whizzed through the air, and landed directly between the eyes of the front henchman. His body slumped against the door frame as blood trickled down from his shattered head. Whilst still in mid flight, Hank released his second shot, this fell stray of it's target and Hank landed uncomfortably onto the floor. Hank lay there for a split second to allow any bullets from the AK's to pass over him. In a flash, Hank fired a third shot which took out the one of the Henchman at the back. With the only remaining henchman feeling the pressure. It was all to obvious that his time was up, Hank sensed his fear and pistol whipped him viciously.

Quietly pleased with himself, Hank looked over at the people he has just slaughtered. An eerie sound creeped up on him, confused, hank slowly turned around and noticed a silhouette in the corner of the room where he'd entered. Hank slowly moved over towards the mysterious figure, shielding his potential fear behind his gun. Suddenly, the figure stood up and into the light, revealing itself as none other than...TRICKY THE CLOWN! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

END OF CHAPTER

It's certainly the best episode yet. On a general note, I don't like the way you have to read the dialogue manually, I usually just skip all that but I got the jist of it. The end fight seen was immense though, non stop action for ages.

You don't bother exporting flashes as video files, Flash sucks at that for some reason. What you do is download a free trial of a decent screen capture program. Open up you flash window, place the screen capture over it, capture it when it plays and save the video file from the screen capture program.

My favourite Weapon is the Double-Barreled Shotgun (but if I want to get a lot of kills I'll just use the MP40.
Least favourite is the Springfield.

Favourite map is Dome, it's such a small map so it's just mad!
Least favourite is Sealow, it's so boring and to big.

Good job :)
Easy.

also, I have found some bugs, which would be good to fix:
- sometimes at the start there's a white bar at the bottom, which looks strange
-when you fall, off the screen can you make it end rather than a massive minus number accumulating
-when you die and the try again button appears, could you have it so you can press the 'enter' key to restart instead of clicking?
-and your name in the bottom right isn't neccassary cos there will be official name tags.

but yeah, your mini game looks good so far, nice job!

I used Flash 8.

You don't need to design the stuff around the game area, just the mini game.

Yeah, CS3 is basically Flash 9, so Flash 8 would be lower.
