I took print screens of 4 different angles to show you, could you please review and if possible, give me some advices. I sent in the Art section: http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/playgb/my-first-3d-model-paula
Thanks
Good start. Consider registering with Digital Tutors to push you skill even further, their library of 3D tutorials is amazing ( you need to pay though ). Looking good so far anyway!

Great start indeed! Now consider watching video tutorials on youtube by artists like Jazza or Sycra, very helpful for beginner artists. Keep up the good work. :)

Video tutorials are the way forward in my opinion. Here are two of the best websites:

You will need to pay a monthly fee but it is definitely worth it! Good luck.

I think since the character is looking back, it should be like that.
Thanks for the comment lieslieslies. I will make sure to check out some of your artwork too.

Imagine that you have 3 pictures of eg. hand, arm, torso, but they are not same. And you trace it a little bit and put together. Is that cheating? I dont do that but just wondering. Also eg. you have body and from another picture you trace a bit clothes and folds and put together etc.
I think that it's not good because that way everyone can make pictures but what if you trace from picture but it looks more like sketch not so detailed but i do by myself finial linework etc. Is it also cheating? I know that you gonna say that i wont learn anything by doing this.
Also do you think that by tracing form pictures but ONLY for studying purposes is good?
I just need to improve a bit more and do some works to my portfolio because I'm going to do an art diploma this year - yea i know only by drawing, drawing, drawing i can improve also I DONT want to cheat so thats why im asking you guys - what do you think? ;)
Try a bit of everything, see what works for you. Many historical artists and even modern artists use reference or trace. Art is about the result, that's what you get paid for. :) just enjoy yourself, try not to stress over every detail.

It's a good start. I would recommend that you read some of the books by Andrew Loomis, they will teach you the fundamentals of figure drawing as well as many other concepts. Also, depending on your age, consider taking life drawing classes, this really helps! Good luck.
Thanks for the reply guys. :) I agree with both your comments, will consider this in the future!

Really nice start! Maybe consider taking it in to Photoshop ( or the free alternative GIMP ) and doing a neater trace over your original, this would give you neater line art, just an idea. If you do this, re-post it here and get it critiqued too. Good luck. :)
Hi all, I'm fairly new to Newgrounds, all quite exciting :). Just thought I would start off by sharing some of my art ( more can be found on my Newgrounds profile page. ). Critiques are welcome and much appreciated! Thanks guys.
