Nice, Emily Youcis is my faborite. If you guys haven't seen her on Smut Cave, do yourself a favor and watch this. I almost never laugh out loud at internet shit, but it's golden.

Approximately zero, although I partook in it several times when it became the themed taunt in TF2 over the weekend :3

Yeesh, you'd think that with the movie having come out, even your average joe would recognize a flawless recreation of two of the characters. Hats off to you anyhow.

Not sure if anyone remembers me having posed the question of "What will be this year's overdone costume?", but in Toronto, the results were Hunter S. Thompson (how current...) and The Joker (again, but this time the nurse version).

My prediction bombed. I didn't see a single MJ, but our neighbours were nice enough to play Thriller on loop for several hours on their front porch.

tl;dr

Only time I've ever seen it is April Fulp's review of NG Voice Mail, hah.

Anyone else pick up Borderlands? This is going to kill what little productivity I had lately.

Halloween time approaches. What does everyone think this year's overdone costume idea is going to be? My guess is Thriller Michael Jackson.

Anyone know what they're doing? I'm considering L4D's Bill :O

Haha, it's a good bad film, to be sure. Not the best though. The more conscious you are that you're making a piece of shit, the less appeal it has. That's why modern day garbage can't beat the classics.

But that's the thing. A better score doesn't mean it's necessarily trumped it. It's exceptionally common for a quick little do to triumph a game that somebody really put a lot of effort into. And not just that - a game that, for all intents and purposes, has much more *value* to it. Score is a matter of amusing someone until they vote, so a 30 second clip with a popular punchline (anything by C&H) will often "trump" a really solid, well-animated, and lengthy animation.
The problem lies in that this leads to more exposure for less work, discouraging authors from pushing the limits of Flash. On one hand, it's giving people what they want. On the other hand, people are assholes.

maybe doesn't have RPG elements or breasts but that doesn't take away from what it is.

It's funny, because a lot of his games do sell themselves entirely with tits, and RPG elements are beyond his programming prowess.

1) You don't need another thread. If your first one didn't get many replies, maybe $300 is not much money for 2-3 minutes of animation in a half-month time frame. I'm being facetious. It's definitely not.
2) Saying that the details happen only over PM effectively turn this into a hollow advertisement. If you can't say it to the public, you're soliciting.

Oh lord, quit your belly-achin', brits :P I love UK humour as much as the next guy, but they've leveraged a popular name and created something new with it that honestly turned out hilarious. The problem is that people are attempting to view each one as an international duplicate of the other, character for character, but that's not the case. People are almost *always* going to gravitate towards whichever one they got used to first. As such, I greatly prefer the American one, but I'm not going to say it's 'better'.

However, the American remake of Oldboy IS going to be an abomination that the creators should die for. Will Smith. That's all I need to know. Will Smith.

I use a Mac at work, and a PC at home. I've never had a noticeable virus on either. Each has its ups and downs. Neither is better but GOD DAMN, how is there any disagreement about which fan base is mouthier and more self-righteous?
