It's not a test... there are no right or wrong answers... and it doesn't take that long (unless you talk his ear [eyes?] off like I did...sorry Kurt! LOL) Even if you weren't that active on Pipeline, any and all comments are welcome.
So, please!!! if you have a few minutes to spare, it would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!
Thanks!!!

You can bump it a couple times... but after that it should be pretty obvious that no one is interested ...and if you continue to do it, it will most likely get locked.
My neighbor's cousin's dentist's niece's art teachers ex-brother-in-law did something similar for his first wife's gynecologist's receptionist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&featur e=endscreen&v=lFDvOW0FR3Y What do you think?
"Here's something that'll blow your mind (sorry that it's an ad): stare at the colored dots on this girl's nose for 30 seconds, then quickly look at a white wall or ceiling (or anything pure white) and start blinking rapidly. Congratulations, you just processed a negative with your brain!"
I could try...do you have any type of instant messenger? (aim, msnm, gmail)
Try the VA Wanted and/or VA Advertising threads in the audio forum.
If you want to upload the .fla file to your dump and pm me a link, I can take a look at it for you :)

in the collaboration forum?
Is there any way to move this thread to the collaboration section, or should i just start a new on there?
No, there's no way to move it... you just have to make a new one there. You can then keep tabs on both or request that this one be locked (if you do that, I'd post a link to the collab forum topic here first... in case someone sees this and is interested).
...there's also the collaboration forum.

Though I'm sure all this stuff will get archived somewhere anyway.
It's preserved in the flash submission, but still... OHF11! :P
also... team meat lol
YAY, JOE!!!! I was JUST thinking about you yesterday! Wondered where you'd run off to. I figured you'd ditched this place for good ...and that made me sad! But here you are, so... YAY, JOE!!! :D lol
Drawings look great as always!! Looking forward to seeing lots more!! :D
I wouldn't worry about the nsfw in the title! You mention it in your first post, so I'd say you're covered there!
guess it's some kinda fish-crab-thing lol
yeah, this is the Flash forum...try the Animation forum.
Cool! Fun idea... I might give it a go if I have time later :D
I've seen the redesign... there will be 240 levels. Once it launches, your new level will be double what it is now (that's how they did it last time, didn't they? I forget!) ...so, yeah, I'll be a level 2... jonny will be 86'd, and pimp will be 120.
almost all of that is a lie!

...don't you mean right after? ;P
The only time I ever see you post in the art forum is when you're asking for a handout. Why don't you try doing it yourself for a change. This seems simple enough and you know what you want so...
Go to dafont.com, click on eroded, destroy, distorted and/or horror. Find one (or several) faces you like, download and install, type the words, play around a bit... boom, you have a free logo.
While you're at it, why don't you keep track of how long it takes. Figure designers get anywhere from $25 to $150+ an hour... come back and let us know how much you'd have to pay yourself ;P
Flat Fee Logo Design Examples:
Professional Agency: $1000 - $5000
Independent Firm: $500 - $3000
Freelancer: $250 - $2500
Offshore Designer: $100 - $250

There are always (or at least there used to be) unsigned bands/musicians posting here looking to get something done for their stuff. Some even come from the audio forum/portal.
The trick is finding a *good* song from someone/a band that's not signed yet! (got any popular bands in your area? ...bet you do!) That would be an excellent way to get around the copyright issue... and also help promote the artist and their work. You never know, they could go on to fame and fortune due (in part) to your efforts!! ;)
Are you locking the objects? (Modify > Arrange > Lock)
I think the key command on a pc is ctrl+2 (maybe) ..did you hit that by mistake at some point?
Did you try the motion editor panel? You get crazy control over every little thing there.
If you're using a classic tween, you need to be on a keyframe to make changes. If you're using the new tweeining method, use the motion editor panel for super precise controls.

I would think this would be a better topic for its own thread. Or is there one already? (inspiration thread or something) I dunno!
Anywho...
I'd like to address the topic of people coming in here asking/looking for animators... and the way some of you are responding to them.
This thread ...particularly the last post by RPGShadow kind of sums it up for me... if you're not interested, why do you post?
I think it's pretty obvious that if the opening post is short, vague, detail-less, etc... that the person making it has no clue. They can't/don't understand what animation entails and probably aren't worth getting into a discussion or argument with.
I get that it's annoying to some... but since this is such a huge, recurring issue (the requests), maybe we need to think of a better way to handle these ...without insults and flaming. Redirecting them to the collab forum probably isn't the best option... since this is where animators would most likely be.
Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions, thoughts, input... whatevers?!?

Might help if you put more details here. Like what style are you looking for? how soon do you need it done? how much are you paying? etc.
I would think the best place to get help with mochi components would be on the mochi forums.
