Ah, now for a tattoo, your current method of shading actually works! :)
You might want to take a look at some of these Art101 tutorials. Specifically the one about documenting your work. You can have the most amazing drawing in the world, but if the pic you post of it is bad... no one here will ever know!

(Sorry, but where can I upload high-resolution version?)
You can upload it to your Dumping Grounds and post the link here. Good luck!! :)

That's because the topic has been made countless times... and it belongs in the Art forum.
I'm not sure if this has been suggested before...

lol, I don't wanna! :P
...and it's probably way more trouble than it's worth, but... it would be super helpful on dump files if there was some sort of indicator to show if there is a link to that file (on the bbs or where ever) ...so we know not to delete it.
For example... I could delete 'rough.jpg' without worry... but 'newTank.jpg' would create two dead links.
Oh, and thumbnails would be nice too... for at-a-glance perusal!! :D
The thing that jumps out at me is the way you shaded it... the pencil lines are very apparent and distracting. Try out some other techniques and work on adding more midtones and gradual shades (even though the lighting is drastic on the original, it's not solid black and white). Once you get a better grasp of that, you should redo the pic... would be cool to see the difference after like six months or a year of practice!
Keep at it!! ...and post more stuff if you've got it! :D

lol, I like it! You might wanna make the ammo a different color though... I wasn't sure if it was corn cobs or the pumpkin's legs at first. Silver would probably work nicely. Also, the frame is too light... try a dark purple, almost black... that'll make the lighter stuff pop and keep with traditional halloween theme colors (yellow or orange letters). Maybe add some lighter lights to the metal stuff too. Aaannd... there's a little too much empty space above him. Either crop it down or make him bigger ...or just ignore me 'cuz it looks good as is :D

Good call. When you do, move the wolf and red over so they're not falling off the side. They're the main focal point, not the path or all the trees, right?
Point remains. Based on the lines and position, it looks like it's part of the wolf.
It's great that everyone is giving pointers/suggestions... so, keep doing that and let the OP decide which will work best for her. But no more arguing over which way is right or wrong! You guys are tearing Jonny apart!! :'(
Hi. Welcome to the forums! I really like "self-portrait-v-2" ...looking forward to seeing more stuff!
"can rush in me boots"? ...I dunno what that means, but I like it! lol
Unfortunate decision to add the fir tree right at the wolf's spine... and again, you're limiting yourself with your line shading. Way too heavy. (On both the wolf and hulk.)
That butterfly is pretty hilarious! Looks unfinished though. Polish it up and you'd have a great piece there!

It needs to be landscape. If yours were to be used, as is, it wouldn't fit... and the squished one looks... well, squished.
Here's a tip: if it's not done at the required size/proportions/orientation... odds are it won't even be considered. So make sure it's right!!

If anyone can do it, you can!! ...you could always just go for it... full on A (for Adult) and say to hell with the SFW thing! If the judges love it enough, they won't care about cubicles!!
and there's always the back cover! ;)
ANOTHER REMINDER... these images fit into a border/frame that *may* cover up some of the stuff on or close to the outer edges... so be sure to put things far enough in so nothing important gets covered up!!!
