Hi NG.
So I want to buy a mic but don't know which one is better, Blue Snowball or Samson CO1U?
Who do you think is better and why?
Thanks.

The face isn't semitrical and the hair's linework is to thick. It should be thiner.
I liked the linework and the colors looked good.

The only problem is that when i exit the graphic and try to animate with that graphic and extend the keyframe time it plays all the frames as i scroll through. So when i press play all my frames that i drew play through. I haven't seen anyone else with this problem so i figured i'd ask here. Thanks for the help guys
i had this problem too. What you have to do is keep the mouth's timeline with only one frame when you are drawing. Then load the thumbnails and then extend the mouth's timeline.
I need a or 2 voice actors who can do the voices of a 13-15 years old teen boys, no accent.
Teen Nr.1: A somewhat nerdy kid.
Teen Nr.2: He makes comments about everything.
I accept submmisions until 12:00 AM September 15th.
PM me if you want to voice act or send me an audio sample.
Thanks,

i'd love to get some feedback . thanks :)
i liked your artwork but there were some little problems.
First of all, the nose is just a little out of simetry and the right ear is bigger than the left one.
You could use some red on the cheecks and those lips are ust...gigantic.
It's good. You're good at it. What I said are just minor problems.

How do I go about doing that? Do I need to make each separate part of him a symbol?
Draw the parts of the body in different layers and make each part a graphic.

It doesn't matter what version of As you are using but i prefer to use As2 on simple animations.

I reccomend Camtasia Studio. It's pretty good.

I start this project from scratch and the same problem shows again.
I'm using flash pro cs5.5.
When I rendered the swf file with swivel all seems good, but all in all it's pay in the ass when trying to animate w/ the sound.
any help. Thanks!
What you have to do is change your framerate to 24.95 frames per second so it doesn't get messed up. When you render it it will be 25 frames per second so it's the same. Also, you might need to change the sound to 160 kbps, the sound quality to best and don't convert stereo to mono.

Please give me feedback on what is good and what could be better. I want to make this as perfect as possible. Please be sure to watch in HD! So much thanks in advance for your feedback!
First things first, as your first animation, I think it is good. Something i liked was the background. It was well done. I really liked the voice acting and its quality. The animation was fluid. I was kinda creeped out by the characters teeth. The dad was giant.. I'd rate this: 3.9/5
I'm looking for a coder to work with for Game Jam 10. Anyone willing to collaborate can PM me and from there we can talk about the details of the game. The game talk about two friends trapped in the woods.

So scene 1 is on frame 1, scene 2 frame 2 and so on. When I test the full movie its plays the symbol of the first scene but then it does not play the frames/scenes after it. I heard that I could do a goto and play button or what for the frames after frame 1, but I don't have too much actionscript knowledge. Any help would be appreciated!
What you have to do is to link the scenes together. What you have to do is in each scene, make a copy of the frame and write the code on the second frame. The code to link them is this: gotoAndPlay ("Scene number, frame") ;
P.S: This is the code used in actionscript 2.0.

I liked the backgrounds and the story. The animation was fluid even thou it was a little bit messy. if i would rate this, I'd say: 4.5/5

Get Toon Boom Studio. It's good and not as expensive as Adobe Flash. It's tricky though. Is Toonboom reasonably priced outside America? (the prices in the store are in dollars, so I'd imagine they'd do a straight conversion + tax). Also, it would lack actionscript. Are buttons or simple frame events possible with toonboom?
I live in Europe, and yes, the price for Toonboom here is $249, that I think is reasonable if you compare it to Flash which is $699. It has buttons.

If you don't have a big budget or it's just a hobby you can get Wacom Intuos Pen, but if you want something better and more professional, go for a Cintiq or an Intuos Pro. Something to know about Intuos is that you don't see what you're drawing in the tablet, you see it on the screen.

If you want sound effects, you can get them online. But, one of the methods I have used is with a balloon. You stretch the balloon and it gives you sounds. Another method is to experiment with some items that can give you sound effects.
At 7/2/14 01:58 AM, Swordticus wrote: So bottom line is, I'm working on an animation in Flash CS6. I'm still getting the hang of the program, but the animation is going to be roughly a minute and a half long. Recently when working on it things started getting laggy, take longer to load and even made the program crash.
After searching it up a bit on google, I found out about the use of Scenes, which apparently are a way to divide the animation into, well, scenes, but all in the same file flash file. While I think it'll help me be more organized (Cause the animation right now is a bit of a mess :p) if I do that I still fear there will be lag, since it's still all the same file. Am I wrong?
Or do you guys think it'd be better if I just divide the animation in different flash files?
I know. I had this problem too. What you shoul do is make a whole animatic divided into scenes, and than based on that animatic make each scene in a different Flash file.
P.S I had this problem with long animations taht went for something like 5 or more minutes, I never had a problem with an 1 minute flash animation
I use Adobe Flash Professional for 2D animation and 3DS Max for 3D animation, they're gonna cost, but try saving some money. Also, I got Flash for something like $300 with the student prize.
I use Adobe Flash Professional CS6. It's not cheap, but if you're student you get it for about $200-300.

For instance, being able to skew a photo and tween it. Options like this are not available in flash.
Thanks.
I think the best software is Adobe After Effects.
I've been playing Counter-Strike. You know, shooting the bad guys.
Very soon I'll be animateing the movies and TV shows you watch. This is a great community so I'd love to hear some feedback!
That's great! If you'll be animating TV shows, I think you're good at it. Followed you.
