Here's a screenshot of the first scene. Let me know if there's anything changes that I need to make on her. I tried my best to draw the girl you wanted us to draw but in my own style. Oh and the other side of the room won't be as blank as what you see in the screen shot. More updates to come.
Here's my update.
The next scene starts the hardcore action sequences.

Here's what I'm thinking for the final product, we segment a few of the pieces together, for example:
Take the slower moving pieces and find a song to fit all of them, then seamlessly transition into;
Faster Action Pieces with a heavy hitting action song that fits all of the action scenes, then transition into;
Comedic pieces with a more laid back fun feel going to the music.
It should be really easy for me to put together a single .mp3 for the final pieces. What do you all think?
Not a bad idea, that will definitely bring something new this year. As for my part, I'll upload the scenes I have finished tonight. I just want to work on it a little more. This time I will upload something, haha.
I tried the anagram generator and the only thing that made sense was...
'Calm men or'
Or what? Makes you wonder huh?
Well I managed to fix that 'slow down' problem but I decided to wait until after I'm done with my current scene before I show you all an update. I can't wait until I'm done haha.
Alright! Now that I have a female voice actress I can get started. This is going to be fun.
I was going to post an update on my progress since I finished another scene but ToonBoom is failing me. I guess the background was little too much on the third scene and the playback is very slow. I'll try seeing if I can fix this today so you all can see what I've got done so far.
I won't be able to start animating until after June 30th. After that date you'll expect some teasers.

Trans people are more likely to be out of a job than a gay person because the employer will most likely deem us mentally unfit for no logical reason. That's why most of us who have fully transitioned (outside of the entertainment industry and adult entertainment industry) tend to keep our mouths shut usually when getting a job. Can you imagine being denied a job just for admitting you were born in the wrong body?
I can understand how infuriating that can be. Being denied something because of who you are. It's mainly because the common person in society lack knowledge behind why transgendered people exist. Every fetus starts off as female until the presence of the y chromosome determines if that fetus will develop into a male. Since human birth isn't perfect (which is why genetic mutations exists), who's to say the body develops into a male body but the brain rejects such developments leaving the brain to keep developing into a female brain. Never to realize they are both out of sync. Not everything gets copied from parent to child and this is why scenarios like this happen. Which is why gay people can be born from straight couples and transgendered people exist despite the parents forcing them into gender roles that society have at the time.
People like to imagine the world black and white but its simply not like that. This world is filled with gradients and colors and people have to accept that everyone is different and they have their own life to live.
It's such a sad scenario when people want to control how others live their lives because they can't tolerate something they are doing. In no way does gay marriage take away straight couples right to marry and marriage wasn't even a religious concept to begin with. The argument that gay people need to have children to get married holds no water because the definition of marriage changes with the times. Sooner or later the definition will change again.
The reason why the 'gay agenda' may seem to be 'in your face' is simply because gay people can still be bullied or even killed for being who they are. Transgendered people are included in this. Until a gay or transgendered person can co-exist with everyone without feeling threatened or discriminated against, that's when the 'gay agenda' won't be 'in your face'. Sorry if bringing up transgendered people made me go off-topic. They are one of the many groups of people that get mistreated along with gay people.

Well then, consider my script done. Now all I need is a female voice actor and I can begin animating.
This question will be the deciding factor for me finalizing the script. With the white room, do we have complete creative freedom in what we put in it? I was thinking about having a switch that opens various parts in the room but they aren't big areas that take away from the room effect. If so, my part will have a bit of a twist at the end rather than a 'bloody' ending haha.

My part is already written and planned out from last year. I have the voice acting done already as well. Shock-Dingo Did the voices for my part, and they are pleasantly creepy!
Thanks for accepting me. So about gore, how much are we talking here? lol
Hmmm.... You know, I might just join this year. I saw last years collab and it looked fun. I can make a script for my part in a week(I want it to be dark and interesting) and start animating. So, am I in?

I like it a lot! Thanks for the suggestion. Learning how to make edges that aren't sharp may help me in other areas when working on my animations. Thanks again.
I got done with the changes so I'm uploading the before and after. I tried doing the water color effect the best way I could. This is the first time I ever done something like this lol. So, does it look any better than the first picture?

What I'd like to see you try, since I know you've got the artistic talent, try to make the backgrounds appear water colored, or painted. Give them some gruff to the edges and add some brush-like strokes throughout. I think it'll give a nice texture to your background and compliment your animation well.
I see. I'll try that, thanks. I'll work on my part some more then post a screenshot tonight to let you see how it looks.
I added another layer of color to fill in the skin. I didn't like how the background was showing through the character like in the preview I posted above.
I have a question. I decided to go with a grayscale approach this year instead of leaving everything blank like last year. So does this take away from the idea of the sketch collab or not?
Alright I have more than enough time to devote myself to my part now. Here's a quick preview.
I should be done by June or July so I'll keep everyone updated on my progress.
Congrats to the winners. I guess I need to work on my skills a lot then haha.
Oh, thanks for metioning me.

was it that bad lol
Hmmm At first I thought it was because of the swearing but then I noticed I'm not on that playlist as well lol. This is just a guess but I think they overlooked us because of the many submissions. Most likely an accident.
Done.

Looks like I'm also working on my NATA entry at same time as this. So in between rounds I'll be working on my part for this collab like last year. That Deja vu.... Anyways, that's the plan and I wanted to let you all know. :D
My time to work on my part has been cut short these past weeks. I'm near the end of the semester and teachers always want to give students the most homework at this time :/. After the semester is over I'll be able to work on my part some more.
I've been reading what has been posted in this topic and I decided to give my opinion as well :D. I believe the sexual orientation of humans is a complex thing. Which is why these labels are getting out of hand for example, straight, gay, bi, and pan. We humans can't all fit in this small box that society gives us. It sucks how people want to control who a person can share their life with based on their subjective truths.
I personally don't care if some people don't like homosexuality because its unrealistic for everyone to like everything in this world. It becomes a problem when that person uses prejudice and discriminatory behavior against a gay person when the individual hasn't done anything to harm others. They judge them based on the category they're in rather the merits of their character.
Letting you all know that I'm still working on my part. I'm not sure when I'll upload my progress but it will be here soon. It's another action sequence.
Alright, I can finally start working on my part. My animating schedule is clear now.
Ah ok. I'll participate for this year's collab. As soon as I'm done with 'Recap', I'll start working on my part.
Oh wow, I didn't know you were going to start now lol. Hmmm, once I'm done with Recap, I'll start working on my part for this collab.
