Just like oldschool (pre-google) youtube, another good site got fucked up or deleted.

I had a lot of rare save data for an online game that nobody else had uploaded on the net. All of my files were uploaded with permission from the modders. When the fag-FBI or whatever fucked up Megaupload, I permanently lost access to data from 2005~2008.

While we're at it, fuck you Filefront .. I think it's been called Gamefront for a few years.. Anyways, I had files there that had totaled 250,000 downloads, and yet when I logged in to my account I discovered all of my stuff was gone.

I'll try to find a way to tie those stories back into TPB, let me drink some coffee to wake my brain up..

Okay so like, anything you put online will likely get deleted after a few years, so always have backup plans available. I actually was able to save some of RTB's data from being destroyed by uploading it onto TPB. Nothing illegal, I'm not stealing anything. I'm just using torrents for honorable purposes.

Just because the majority of torrents are warez, doesn't mean everything is.

I need some of the 90s and 00s users opinions on this, it always confused me a bit in all the years I've been on the net.

Every time I get on the forums and someone mentions how long they've been on new grounds I get more and more pissed off about losing my original account. Every time I post this account I feel like I'm speaking through a child, I've been here for 8 years gurd dammit.

I know that feeling. Back on G4TV and Emuparadise, I registered some accounts when I was a kid back in like 2004. G4 went to shit and removed accounts and everything else, and Emuparadise lost data for a lot of old accs as well. I still have access to my maplestory and gaia accounts from 05~06 but nobody gives me any extra street cred.

I guess the moral of the story is - acc age doesn't count for shit if you never did anything in the first place.

I say let there be about 9~10 dungeons of a length of an hour or more for each one, but allow for the player to find all the tools / gadgets outside of the dungeons, allowing them to complete whatever area they want whenever. Maybe introduce the territory / stronghold aspects of Far Cry 3 in a sense, so you have to do mini-dungeons or stronghold raids to secure an area and make it safer.
