Pokemon Diamond / Pearl was the last one I played as a kid. I was in 7th grade back when it came out, and even if all those stupid kids automatically hated pokemon as soon as they hit middle school, I played the fuck out of it with my friends. Granted, that's the last time I had any friends IRL, because after 2010 I had to move back to this shitty desert wasteland called the four corners. 80% republican, highly rural, mormon oil town fuckwads. Kill all of them. Anyways, I had a shitty life and a hellish childhood for most of when I lived in New Mexico, dealing with white trash alcoholic parents and shitbag 'friends' who always stole from me and ripped me off.
Excluding my hellish life in Farmingtonistan, my days back in the 90s in Lakenheath and Cambridge, England were the best in my 20 years of life. When you're born, up to about age 12, everything is much more magic for you. You have much stronger imagination, that can even make you see things IRL sometimes. To make this more sensible, if any of you got high, it's like that except more coherent and much more magical than even that.
So, growing up playing the NES and cheating with the help of Game Genie, then seeing the SNES, Genesis, SS, Dreamcast, N64, and last but definitely not least, PS1.. I saw all these different generations of games in a household. Course I didn't play a lot until 97~00 when I was old enough to actually use them, but watching my bro play the 8/16-bit games was awesome.
Then Final Fantasy 7 came out, and it was all my bro played, and I, along with his friends, would watch him play that shit for hours. Plus, he was subscribed to a magazine called PlaystationPower, which gave out these demo-discs that had like 16 games on each one. Most memorable to me was Spyro 3's demo in the submarines, G-Darius, and another game where you played around with this music jukebox. If anyone can find me the last game, that'd be much appreciated.
We sadly had to move back to america, and we moved to f***ing texas, RIGHT around 9/11. X.X
Still, I had an awesome childhood up until 2004. The days watching my older bro play around on the internet was magical. I miss rathergood, oldschool newgrounds, the alien screamer he pranked me with, and life before youtube.
I was 'bout 11ish when YT came out in 2005, so I made an account. I lasted up until 2008 before I got banned for copyright infringement, and lost thousands of fans and millions of views. That's what I get for uploading DBZ i guess..
Course, 2005~2008 had Return To Blockland. That was my favorite game of all time, and if anyone even reads this far I want you to check it out. BL was a online lego game based on the same engine tribes 2 used. It was a fairly small community in a 1~5,000 range, but it was some of the mot imaginative, creative games I ever played. However, I watched it become infested with trolls always treating eachother like shit. And after retail got released its community broke down. Now, RTB, TBM, etc have 0 players.
I also played the fuck out of WoW, along with a lot of games. But, I watched my childhood die, after dealing with a shitload of IRL troubles as well. Now my favorite game has been dead for like 5 years. All my friends I made through it, most of them I havent seen since 2008.
My favorite site, youtube, is a much different place than it used to be. everyone's on the internet nowadays.. Back in the golden age, 05~06 I loved watching all the vlogging. 07~08 was probably the high point of it. All those memes were epic, let's just get real.
Now, a lot of the net lost it's soul, and it's grown too developed, so everyone is on it and OC and it's charm is long gone. Maybe it's just that I'm not a child anymore, even if my maturity never grew past age 15. Heheh..

I've been friends with an amateur game developer for 8 years. He made a major spinoff-mod of BL. Later after 09 he got tired of the project and handed it over to some other kids. Then around the 2012 batman shootings he made a game about that. Also one about George Zimmerman, and was planning on making one on Sandy Hook, but retired that project after his NRA Assassination Game got on fox news (which I filmed the first clip of, LIVE) and became famous. I helped a tad with morale, and a few aspects of the scripting, since I grew up scripting for Torque Game Engine.
Am I a game dev if I helped put the dildo machine gun in there, and helped with some of the graphics and a few scripts?
IDK, I was older than 13 when Minecraft came out back in 09...

I have come to pay my respects a decade later. The world is a much more globalized and connected place. Technology has quadrupled in terms of power. The internet, just in 2009, was quite primitive in some aspects when compared with today.. In the next 10 years it's going to be much more different. However, even though it's been so many damned days, people still know about this guy enough to continue to acknowledge his existence.

McDonalds. A lot of the meat is disgusting and you can taste the rubberyness in it which makes you wanna throw up. Once I get done with the food I always have to take a mean shit because I get horrible painful diahhrea. Especially after eating the spicy mcchicken burgers.
For some odd reason, taco bell never fucks me up unless it's the one from Belen. Also I can eat subway sandwitches with a fuckton of mayo ranch dressing and pickles. I can even drink all the water from a pickle jar and it doesn't phase me.
@OP, you got no damn idea how bad it is up in New Mexico. It was 110 most of the summer, we had some hurricanes by mexico bringing in some humid weather again this year, bumping it to 106 degrees around albuqerque at 86% humidity. While I was hanging with my friends it was almost impossible to breathe!
Then back in farmingtonistan it was mostly arid around 95 degrees all the time since april. ALL of a sudden in october it instantly dropped from 70 degree nights to 30.
Not as bad as up in colorado in the rockies. Last winter temperatures in the negatives were always recorded.

I signed up 2009 even though I was old enough to be able to make one in 05. I only was very active on it back in 2003~05. In fact if you go through my history on this acc I only started posting on this forum this year.
I feel most of the internet lost it's soul, but everything is much more advanced and detailed than before. Most of the flash animations of the 90s would get downvoted to the lowest on the graphics department. But they naturally have more emotion because of their older age..

Pink used to be a neutral color and was often used for males. However I agree that this weird bright powerful pink isn't really masculine, but a faint 'worn out' style of pink, like marty mcfly's clothing in the old west that got him called a 'dandy'..
