I'm not in total agreement with the "especially anything with the nintendo name on it", cuz many games are the same for many consoles, but then, yeah, but I'm in total agreement with your point. Many games are like that, esp. the RPGs and many others that are similar to them, so it's not a big surprise. STICK RPG was a great RPG, and MAN, did I SEE THE SAME THINGS AGAIN OVER AND OVER, but that doesn't make it a bad game. It's one of the best ones on NewGrounds, even with its many bugs.

Yeah. I guess that's true. We can't sit at an X-Box every day and stare at those fake girls, when there are all those hot girls in real life. But yeah, you do have to give the game some credit for the graphics. The girls do look pretty good.

Yeah, it was for some of my friends too. For me, it did get boring after I kept on watching the 8 girls again, but all games in the form of an RPG, or in a form close to it get kinda addictive. I liked Stick RPG before and played it for a while even with its bad graphics and bugs, because it attracts the player to spend time on it. And, of course, Stick RPG is free, so there is nothing to lose for playing that game. DOAX is not, so if you don't like it, and the store won't accept it back, well, you just lost cash.

LoL... yeah, I've seen the commercial and played the game. It did get very boring after a while of playing it when there's only 8 girls, and only a small amount of activities to do. Yeah, the cover, the commercials, and all that other stuff did attract a lot of people who were not satisfied after they bought the game.

You've got a point, of course, real girls are better, but isn't it gonna be hard to put real life photos in 3d, when there's so many details?

Plus, another downside to the game is that there's only 8 girls - that means only 4 teams. I mean come on... how hard is it to add some new girls in the game? So what if they're not from the original Dead or Alive series.

Dead or Alive: Xtreme Volleyball: The graphics are pretty good - but you don't get to do much in the game except buying, giving and receiving stuff, playing volleyball, and jumping over pillows in pools. The chicks look pretty good, and I guess that's the only obvious reason people like the game.

So what are your opinions on this game?

Dude, great speech. We are all kinda like brothers, in one way or another. Good stereotypes are, of course, better to say and hear than bad ones, but you're right, they still don't help solve the big problem. They just add to the pile. And every normal respect-giving person, with any color of skin, does deserve some respect too.

The sniper (John Allen Muhammad) was just a crazy nut. Any race would have that. Serial killers - there's many of those from every race. For a killer, of course it's better to get caught after shooting one person than to get caught with the blood of half a dozen - or is it (if you get executed in both situations, and you're not a god-fearing person, it should be the same thing for you)? Anyways, in Canada there is no death penalty (did I mention that in this topic already?). The worst that can happen to you is that you get sent to jail for life.

My answer&opinion: no... I don't think we should do that. In Canada we're trying to do that to the aboriginals. It sucks for their culture because they don't get to preserve it, but sometimes when u tell a guy in somewhere like Nunavut to go to Ontario, he may make better money. But then, no one should ever be forced to assimilate. Canada and the United States are free countries, so they should be given the right to decide themselves.

Yeah... what's here now is sure better than what was here 50 years ago. Lets just hope that in the future it doesn't get worse again. That could be true. Yeah, you have a point - this may be our future, and it's not a bad thing. But then, I don't think that is very likely to happen, since the average death rate for every race is much lower than the birth rate, so even the recessive genes is likely to multiply itself faster. The end of all humans in the future is likely to be fast and deadly - that's what I think (maybe we're gonna destroy ourselves) - at that point, we, every single one of us - it doesn't matter who you are, are all gonna die close to the same time. There could be many races existing at the same time in the end of the world.

LoL.. don't worry, I don't read the papers. I'm the type of person, along with many other people, who let others find the news, spread it around, and then hear it. The best I do to find the news is go on CNN for... what... 5 minutes (excluding very special events such as September 11th)? I've never heard about that tho on the news... only about Yao Ming being able to stop O'Neal a few times... and I'm not even sure if that's the exact truth.

I just posted here to express my opinion on the best movie/game - ah well I guess I shouldn't have done it - the idea of the topic's not that pointless, but it's repetetive.

Here are my favorites on NewGrounds.com.
1. Favorite Movie: Hostage Situation 2. Please save it! It's off the Portal top 50 of all time, while some worse movies are there. People, I know a lot of you are this movie's fans, so even though it's a really old entry, it's still excellent and deserves to be back there.
2. Favorite Game: I can't decide. There's a lot of tied ones. I'm gonna list 3 of them. Adventure:Stick RPG (bad graphics, gameplay with some bugs, but great length, scripts and idea); Action:Domo Kun's Angry Smashfest; Shooting:XX-4.

Well, ever since Yao Ming has joined the NBA, he's been "the star from China", and everyone was amazed at him, because it's like a totally new thing that came to basketball. If your family was Asian, wouldn't you be amazed if a white, black, or other non-Asian was being adopted into your family? Same thing happened with Ming being "adopted" to the NBA, with O'Neal as a family member already.

About O'Neal, well, sure, he's very likely to have been just joking. I'm almost totally sure that he meant no racism. Again, you can't be 100% sure, but you can be 99%, because you can't find many reasons - no good reasons, for why he would truly mean hard racism with hate. Why would he do that? I don't think he's that stupid.

BTW, since I think that you are a Canadian from Ontario (I am), (I'm sure that it's probably all over North America at least, and maybe Asia, but...) did you get it off the Tornoto Star? National Post?

Yeah, it's very likely that he was just joking. But the level until jokes go too far to get someone fired is different for everyone - it's kinda more strict for different races now, as it's been always. The good thing about racism is that if someone makes a racist joke against a black person, it's most likely to end his career if he started with the racism. The bad thing, is that it's not always the same when it's against a white, Asian, or another non-black person.

Well, I'm not saying fire O'neal - basketball needs him, and well, he probably learned from that experience. I would even still feel sorry for him if he gets fired from that small mistake. My friends do that, and even other Asians sometimes do it for fun. I've also seen it on Simpsons once on an old episode where Homer joins the navy. Am I saying ban Simpsons? (Well, even if I wanted to ban it cuz of that, it's a little too late, but if I got the chance to ban it, I would still say:) Hell no! I love the Simpsons! I donno about other Asians, but I can take a joke like that.

So I'm glad that this topic has been surviving, because it's pretty meaningful, unlike some other forum topics that just waste NewGround's space.

I'm an Asian, and people do that all the time. Some just joke around, and I understand it. Some just do it out of pure racism and hate (another example of racism: people calling you a "Chink" to insult you). It really depends on how the guy tried to use it. O'Neal probably only tried to make a joke, I donno about that.

Yeah, see, racism in the first place in the world was definitely a very wrong direction to take. However, when we try to go back onto the right one, we end up in another one. It's great that racism has decreased against the Africans - it's not gone, but it's much lower than it was a few decades ago. However, some of us just don't get it that when we turn against white (or asian) people, it still makes it worse - two wrongs don't make it right here. If popular people on TV make fun of white or asian folks, they get laughs, most of the time, but when they make fun of black people, they may never get their career back again. I'm not saying: "make fun of black people too, to make it even", but I'm saying stop making fun of others, it's not better than making fun of black people, all races should be even.
