Yeah, I agree that we should all get rid of the weapons of mass destruction in the world. Small amounts of these weapons should always be secured. It doesn't matter which country the next one lands in (during a war, not just during a test) or who sends it - the death of civilians could be huge, and that's not good.

Hey Wade why don't you post in White America? It's been one of the largest topics in the politics section in the NG BBS for a while.

BTW, I've noticed, and I'm sure that many of you must also know that there's another growing topic that relates to this subject. Anyone else could also post links to related topics, and also post links to this in related topics - but I think that this topic is already famous enough as it is.

There are many stereotypes in the world - a lot of them are not about race but about sex. I guess we just have to face most of them, because the big ones will take a really long before they stat to disappear, if they ever do. About lesbians - many people are legally lesbian and I guess we can't do much about it, whether we like it or not.

Yeah, so many people in the world do lack common sense. Society has changed, somewhat to the good side, but also to the bad side, and turned to be a bitch toward many people. It's certainly better here than it was about 5-4 decades ago, but there's still a lot for us to improve on.

True, parents do get their kids to be with some of their habits, good and bad, as it passes on. This does tend to create a chain of ways that keeps on getting passed down.

In my opinion, even if your parents and friends are, for whatever reason, racist, racism for people should be stopped by their common sense. Any person should take put him/herself in the other person's position before he/her judges that other person.

What I really hate is people thinking that racism is saying trash about African-Americans/Canadians. Hell no, it's not. Don't get me wrong, I'm not racist - I never talk shit or treat people differently because someone's in a specific race - and also, I have friends from many races. But hell, what justice is that, when now, I've seen others get labeled as racist when they just swear at one African-Canadian (I'm from Canada), and others not being racist in the same people's views when they are actually racist, but direct their racism and hate toward another race, such as the Asian race.

So racism is against blacks is wrong. Very wrong. And racism against other people is just as wrong - it doesn't matter what race they come from.

Well, this brings us back to the original subject of the topic. True, racism is the lowest level anyone can go. It sure does make them look very dumb in front of people who know better, doesn't it?

Yeah, when I made Newgrounds my account in 2000, at the time when the grounds gold depositing system was different, I didn't deposit points for a while, and after I came back, the system was changed, and I had only 5 points left in my account :'(.

This is a good topic - I'm sick of racism too, and I'm sure that a lot of others are too. Why don't you go to White America, a similar topic also in the politics section of NG BBS?

Yeah, it does, especially after level 9. When you're in level 1-8, it should be much faster to switch between levels, because you need only 5 days between each level. When you reach level 9 and above... man it gets so boring... you have to wait like 50 days while depositing your points each day... zzzz... you you're still in what I call "the Golden Levels"... maybe they're not "Golden", but I liked it better when I used to be able to switch a level in every 5 days. Sure, I still prefer having more exp. points to be in level 10, but I wish level 9 and 10 were like those 5-day levels...

O yeah... I just became level 10 yesturday... it's not such a big deal for me anymore... doesn't make me feel more 1337. Just gives me some more voting power, that's it, and closer th the third secret. Yeah, English is the most widely spoken language and is used in so many countries as an international language to communicate with others. I think Chinese is the most commonly used - but used only in China, HK (part of China now, speaks Cantonese), Taiwan, and some other Asian countries - I forgot who else spoke Chinese. But still, any other language could just useful, even if it's not widely spoken - you never know who you could meet in the future or where you might go. Spanish could be useful - it's spoken in many countries (all countries except Brazil in South America, I think, not sure).

Anyway, this topic kind of strays away from our original topic. Should we keep talking about it until we stray into another topic, or concentrate on our original topic? You guys decide.

Yeah, Newgrounds is growing really fast, and the new users added each time is growing each time too. It's certainly different now than a few years ago, and I'm glad to still be a participating user.

And about the flags, I don't care about whoever has the better-looking flag for their country. Every country has a flag that's probably good looking in their point of view, right? Long live the maple leaf!

Yeah, I agree about everyone learning two languages when they are born - one as the main one they communicate with (like English in an English-speaking province in Canada), and an extra one to come in handy when they grow up (like French in the same province). I know, for some people it sounds like a pain in the ass, but you never know, it may come in handy in the future.

I donno shit about Spanish, but yeah, I'm sure that there are some good Spanish speakers born in America, because Mexico's just down south.

Personally, I don't think that learning another language is a bad thing. I know 4 languages myself (well, 3.5, because I took French here in Canada only until grade 9, did not take any optional French credits, so I do not know so much about the language - I can count it as 0.5). It's not so bad, and can be very useful in the future for me, if I don't totally forget them.

BTW, about the female president, I donno about a female president in the United States. It won't affect me as much, since I'm Canadian, but thinking of a female president does give me the creeps - I donno why - maybe because of a possible great change. Yeah... why do we have to ph33r the lolipop? The higher levels should be able to earn better weapons. I've seen a lot of good icons here, and damn, too bad they're not put into good use.

Dude, sorry. I killed "White America" what was I thinking? Noooooo!!! Yeah, I'll try to remember not to do it again. Ah well... I'm giving up the chance of the managers coming here and posting. It could happen, and I hope it does, but this still may never occur. There's a better chance for mods to post here, since they're around the BBS 24/7, or almost 24/7 - mostly in the general section, but they still do come here sometimes.

On the other hand, if too many people come, this forum should lose its reputation as a junk-free forum. Maybe the politics forum is good the way it is.

Well, most VIP's on NewGrounds like the managers might not visit this, because, they go with the majority of NewGrounds, well, the bad thing, is that there's a very small amount of people coming to the politics forum compared to the number of people coming to the general forum. I have nothing against the general forum - I post there sometimes too, but more people should come and take the time to read and post stuff here.

The BBS signature thing is the thing that goes under your post in every post you make in the NGBBS. The two parts to it (there's two parts to editing this in your Grounds Gold Menu and they are both optional) are the actual signature, with text and some basic html, if desired, and the picture. This should be easy to understand.

Hmmm... I wonder if any of NewGrounds' managers (e.g. Tom, Wade, Synj, etc.), or other really important people can post their opinions here. It could be interesting to know their opinions on this topic.

LOL... well, that's a good way to put it. But, even if the African-Americans are the majority, most of them still don't have to be interested in politics, or at least not interested in it as their future career. That's why America still probably won't have a black president. Not necessarily because the parties that send out the candidates, or voters, are racist.

True, people should really take pride in where they originate from. People should not be afraid to show it due to racism. For example, people from Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan shouldn't stop from taking pride from in their countries just because racist people label them as terrorists.

Well, just as long as you don't show off that your race is better than others, it's ok to show off. Every race has its own good things.
