I can understand you HAVE to watch the entire flash, but what if it's a 10 second movie with a 4MB soundfile playing...? I've seen this yesterday and it's not very nice to watch for at least 30 seconds before I could vote. :S
Ofcourse this system prevents people from blamming a movie just because it has a crappy preloader etc., but now people can abuse this system by uploading small animations with a very very big audio file behind it.

THAT WAS THE HARDEST QUIZ EVER!!!!!
hey mithrandir, are you making a new LOTR parody??? you should make one with denethor.
Well, we will make some new LOTR parodies based on characters. A Special Edition Theoden, Horsemaster is on the agenda and perhaps one with Gandalf. Denethor is a good suggestion, we'll keep that in mind.
Hello everybody, haven't been on the BBS for some days.
Gosh...I didn't know I was that good LOL! I'm not really that good in making LOTR quiz questions of my own, so maybe someone else could make another quiz. The last one was great (thanks to Eldarion).

Apologies for the double post, but finally, the collection has cometh :D
LotR Collection
Great! Finally!
We (Team Lorio) even have our own section. Only, I still think everything needs to be edited correctly, because some descriptions are the same and a little weird';
P.S. Iit still needs to be added to the collection page.

Onze Head of Public Relations, Attorney at Law (M.C.
Mozart - Rondo Alla Turca
Vivaldi - Four Seasons - Spring
Prokofiev - Romeo and Juliet
Tchaikovsky - Swan Lake
Carl Orff - Carmina Burana
Ravel - Bolero
Thank you for your reactions. We're not going to make any large projects for a while, but we'll most certainly come back with another (smaller) movie about a LOTR character (like Theoden, Horsemaster).
I do hope Tom and Wade will make a LOTR collection. Almost everything has it's own collection EXCEPT The Lord of the Rings...and that is NOT an encouraging thought.

There's an excellent article about this at the Encyclopedia of Arda. It concludes that no-one except Tolkien really knows if Balrogs had wings or not.
I read that article. I guess this means we really will not (probably never) know if a Balrog has wings. I think the winged Balrog from the movie is pretty cool, so I'll go with that one.

No-one really knows if Balrogs even have wings. Tolkien seems to have taken that secret to his grave. There are several references to wings in his works, but some people argue that they were made of shadow, and therefore weren't wings at all, just shapes. Neither side is right, because the references are so ambigous. Personally, I prefer the Balrog from PJ's trilogy, with wings, simply because he looks frikkin' cool. And evil.
I totally agree with you. The wings are cool, but the only thing that will FOREVER remain a mystery is if he can fly :P I personally have no clue since there are some references about wings, but not about flying.
O well, the Balrog will kick the hell out of Smaug in my opinion (with our without the wings).

Wrong answer! It's a trick question! Elrond (he's the guy who runs the Rivendale right?) and agent Smith are the same person (as far as the movies are concerned) so they can't fight each other! You fail!
Away with you!
Elrond doesn't "RUN" anything and the place you are trying to describe is Rivendell (or Imladris).
A battle that would seem fun to me: Peter Jackson vs. Aragorn/Legolas/Gimli
This was supposed to be in ROTK, but they cut it out for some reason. Perhaps it's in the Extended Edition LOL!
And if you don't know which part PJ plays in the movie: he's one of the guys on the Corsair ships sailing towards Minas Tirith. You can clearly see him waving and giving order in one shot.
